The best restaurant. They maintain the Heritage food culture. I used to take food at this Restaurant in 1994-96 and on a few occasions even some time in Eightys. I like this restaurant fir the homely food and their hospitalities. Due to inflation the price of food items have become multifold year after years which can't be helped... everywhere. Value for money. Instead of eat-in in the railway station if I get a break at Thiruchy I used to take food(meals) at this restaurant .
Just had the lunch meals. Basic food. But excellent taste. Service can be improved a lot. But if you are looking for good lunch, definitely the place.

I never stayed here. Occasionally taken food since 2001 . From this experience the food quality is to be improved much better for the prices. Previously in evenings each day's special items displayed on the board were very nice. Nowadays trying regular items seems good

I have ate night dinner here. I ordered One Small Onion Oothappam, One set Chappathi and one dosa, along with this Chutney, Sambhar and kurma given. Overall Dish is OK. I didn't stay here.
In South India if you order Chapati - they gives you Paratha. And if you order Paratha - they gives you lachha Paratha. Note: The name are interchanged here they calls Chapati to Paratha
Food is good at a reasonable price and the staff are well behaved. Must try if you just came to Trichy.
