Sri Santosh family dhaba - Restaurant in Hyderabad - Hyderabad, India

Food was pathetic. I previously had Kaju Biryani from Maa Santosh dhaba at toli chowki. Visited this outlet hoping for similar levels of quality and taste. Apparently this is a totally different brand but are using their very similar branding. I was fooled and got very disappointed with the food quality and taste. Not at all worth the money and waste of time. Prices are comparatively higher and portion sizes are much smaller. Do not recommend visiting. Not value for money.

My always favorite dish at Santhosh Dabha is Schezwan Fried rice. This always makes me happy while ordering. Along with this i have also ordered for handi biryani which is good.. Gets with a gravy in dish.

They don't use "tikka" paneer in Paneer Tikka Masala. And the gravy too wasn't tomato-rich which it should be. It was just oil-fried paneer cubes in Kadai-like yellow gravy. Butter Roti, Butter Naan and Veg Manchuria Dry were decent.

We have ordered paneer biriyani and paneer butter masala, the food was very pathetic. We hardly able to take few bites as the paneer was sour and smelling very bad. We have asked the owner or manger who was seating in the billing desk to taste it and he tested it but didn't agree the paneer was sour. I would have given zero rating to this place. Don't waste your money.

The chain of Santosh dhabas has been quite legendary in Hyderabad for many years now. The usp of this chain of restaurants has been irani style veg curries and rotis almost having a distinct taste of their own tbh in a pure veg restaurant setting. However, in the last 2-3 decades there have been many spin offs of this legendary chain and it has been difficult to ascertain which one is good and maintains standards and which ones are slacking. The Gachibowli branch of shree santosh family dhaba has the exact nostalgic preparation of the original Santosh dhaba. The curries taste exactly the same. Good standards maintained. And flavour bombs guaranteed. Highly recommended dish: lachha lachha paneer! Do try this place albeit in ordering in to experience quintessential Hyderabadi curries in a pure veg restaurant format.

Nice place for vegetarians. They have soo many branches and this is one of among them . Food varieties and food taste is great. Prices also very reasonable. We get all North Indian dishes , roties and nan here. Must try is kaju curry , paneer biryani etc... Place for tasty and healthy food which wakes up our taste buds. Nice ambience and spacious place. Food choice for family get to gather.

Food taste is good, order time is quite more, but service is excellent. They have only Maida roti, I would suggest to keep a option of wheat roti as well for health conscious people.

The restaurant is very nice , Not very good in ambience but for vegetarians this place is really heaven , in Hyderabad there are only few restaurants where the vegetarian food is really good in those Shri Santosh family dhaba is one.
