Sri Sai Residency - Hotel in Chennai - Chengalpattu, India

I stayed there with my 80yr old father-in-law who can't walk much, 72 yr old mother-in-law, son and wife. Booked 3 rooms. It is a no frills place; therefore need to expect accordingly. I stayed in smelly and uncomfortable places at higher rates. There were few minor issues which are common even in costlier hotels - but what made us happy was the prompt response from courteous staff. Best is the 24 hr check-in. Good parking space. They kept promise of - clean rooms & beds, a/c, accessories like soap, water bottle and towel.. Clean - lift, staircase and corridors. Overall we were all very happy! I will stay there next time, if need be! Location is very accessible - centrally located. It is very common that Chennai has very bad/ terrible internal roads - can't blame residency for that. There is a metro work going on - therefore access in about 300 meters longer. Very easy to reach shopping, restaurants, airport....

Worst room, staff behaviors are very worst, they won't provide proper linen ( bedsheets, bed spread, towel). A/c not working properly, noisy fan, No drink water at all. Overall wasted my time and money

Rooms are not upto the standard. In my room no.207 there was am frog inside the AC vents. I was shoked and reported then they change my room... Location was not easy to access.

Not suitable for family stay. There certainly seems to be some nasty things happening in this hotel which was evident with the kind of people movement in the hotel and with the odd behavior of the staffs.

It was A very nice and calm hotel, if u go with your family it safe, and very nice staffs and in charge there in the front office

After staying here a second time realised that the "power failure" @2am seems to be a planned TURN OFF by the staff so that our ACs are off making some money. And sad state was the lift was not switched on for senior citizens while leaving in spite of power being available. :( I was forced to pay the remaining (balance) 50% only in cash before we could enter the room.... Now I know why! After requesting for extra matress for a child, was refused a bedsheet to cover the matress. After few requests got a sheet and later realised it's condition...torn! No exhaust in the bathroom. Window curtains are transparent. Bathroom windows not tinted. I wouldn't go again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

We stayed as family, service was very poor, no power back up, heater not working, no ventilation & most importantly person incharge will cheat you to take more money, worst service ever seen, be careful if you are choosing this place!

Went for enquiry. The rooms are neat and clean. Limited car park. Location in residential area. Very costly for the location.
