It's a holy place... It is located in Mid of the Ponnur Town and 28 km away from Guntur... Hanuman jayanthi will be celebrated here very grand for 4 days. It's having other temples in the complex.. a worth seeing place... here Garuda Statue and Hanuman statue have more than 30 feet big idles.. which gives us pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. 1000 Shiva linga's in one place called sahasra lingeswara swamy temple also available here.. in the complex we can see so many no. of Nagapratishta's, Venkateshwara swamy temple. Here free meals available for limited no. of devotees... it's having seperate trust which follow's annadanam.

It was one of my long awaited visit to this temple and worth waiting every second. Temple was built with architectural beauty and have seen many small temples inside. Moolavirat look so peaceful and devine. When you have time you should spend time with this swami juss by sitting and looking at him you will definitely feel the divinity through out your stay. There are sastra Siva lings in the temple. Plan your visit in the early hours of the day so that you will have plenty of time for Abhishek and pooja. Have a blessed visit.

The main attraction here is the idol of Sri Veera njaneya Swamy vari, which is 24 feet height and 12 feet wide, and carved in one single black granite

This temple is located inside the ANJANEYA SWAMY TEMPLE COMPLEX. VEHICLES CAN BE PARKED INSIDE. Once inside the complex, you can visit other temples also. All the temples close at 12.30 and reopen at 3.30 PM.
