We really wanted to like this place. We've been to Moturam Prasadam in the past (which I loved), and that's where I learnt that there was an Udupi restaurant in Jaipur. After coming back from a month long trip to the south of India, we really wanted to taste some authentic south Indian stuff in Jaipur, especially anything with Ghee Podi. We ordered two dishes, and unfortunately both were so spicy that the real taste could never reach our taste buds. We ordered a Dosa and Uthapam, which looked very good, but we had a hard time finishing it because of the amount of chilli in it. We loved all six chutneys though.
Probably we should have tried something else, we'll give it another try someday.
Took my family here for lunch on Mother's Day. They just love love loved their food. Vibe here is so soothing, took my heart directly to South India. Flavours were Bang on. Specially their Benne Irulli Uttapam, Paneer Chettinadu & Parotta, Zeera Chaas and Kesar Bhaat were damn delicious. Also you must try their "MAHA BHOG" sufficient for 2-3 people. Highly recommended place to visit whenever in Jaipur.

An authentic South Indian Restaurant with mouth watering dishes and taste. Sri Rangam has a wide range of South Indian Food for you and your family. I especially loved their Peri Peri Cheese Dosa and Corn Salsa & Veggies Dosa. You get a yummy bowl of Sambar and five different Chutneys along with the Dosa. The ambiance of the place is so good. Also, the staff behavior is extremely good and the Owner is also very friendly. You will love this place, if you are a South Indian food lover. My foodie friends, make sure to add it in your bucket list of restaurants.
Food was authentic South Indian good in taste recommended to visit if you like South Indian food. Another good part was transperency in billing. No additional GST ot service cost was charged. Mineral water was also charged at Rs. 20 a bottle.
The ambience is modest.
It is a great option for groups of 2+ as menu contains large platters with portions from a large variety of preparations.

Me and my father got ourselves the Maha Bhog (around Rs450/-), which ended up satiating our hunger and some more [it is to be considered that we were quite hungry as well].
They serve on a large leaf which adds to a nice presentation (does affect the overall experience).
What I found surprising, however, was how each of the accompaniments were so good. Now, I don't regularly eat out but when I do, I tend to critique what I eat and this was something I was very impressed by.
Stuff felt authentic and you could feel the care and expertise put into the whole thing.
They must've employed a skilled chef because this was fine dine level for me (that too at such a reasonable price).
I might sound like I am sponsoring them (xD) but it is because I am rather passionate about food and when I have something really good, it turns into a pleasant memory that lasts.
We asked them for 2 extra puris and they provided that without extra charge (iirc). +1 for service.
The only minor gripe I had was that the rice was a bit hard (although that might've to do with the kind) and the skin of aloo Vada balls had a little too much oil.
I duly informed this feedback at the counter.
Highly recommended for a family, friends dine out.
Must visit places....their Swiss corn dosa is awesome like you will enjoy every bite of it...and they have a variety of chutney....best place for the one who loves South Indian
Frankly, I have to visit this place again to give my absolute honest review.
But the food was brilliant.
The service was, well, questionable. They were absolutely off place that day.
The ambiance wasn't totally South indian-ish.
Having said that, we visited them a day after Diwali, so they might not be with their best manpower. Thus, it will require us another visit to give honest feedback.
