This temple is on the hill with all fesilities and this temple is speard middle of the hill.the scenery from the temple is awesome and lake view,fields and houses.it is also little historic temple.good maintained.there are three ways to go on this temple.one is steps and another two are cement roads from North side and south side of the temple.cars,bikes and lorry also go on this temple.they made steps to go up on the hill.on the hill they made a jyothi (they called it shiva jyothi), yearly they do festival and go up on hill,they lights the jyothi for three days.

Great experience

A quiet place to visit and one of the most famous Lord shiva temples in Vijayawada. As it's located on top of the hill , it gives an awesome feeling to the devotees. Usually heavily crowded during Shivaratri and Karthika maasam. I like it very much. The atmosphere is so nice, peaceful, and spiritual. I visited this temple many times with family. Try to visit it with your family if it's possible during Karthika maasam

According to the history of temple..Main idol (Siva ) here is worshiped and established by lord Rama ...one of the ancient temples to be visited .. peaceful environment
