A very nice place. It is quiet, well maintained, and beautiful place. The book store has nice collection of books on Swami Vivekananda, Sri Ramakrishna, and Mother Sarada. Worth going if one is in Chennai and need some quiet and peaceful place. I would recommend Vivekananda house and Ramkrishna Math, both places.

This Math was established by disciples of Shri Ramakrishna. The original structure crumbled soon after building it. So there was another structure built, which is now referred to as old temple. Recently a new structure is built and it is referred to as new temple. Entire premises are clean and very well maintained. It has positive vibes which you can feel as soon as you enter this place. I preferred to sit for some time in the new temple, it gave me absolute peace of mind. Would definitely recommend to go there and spend some quiet time.

For years and years I have been visiting this temple. Located in the main road connecting Mylapore,opposite to PS higher secondary boys school, parking your vehicle in the parking slot and leaving your chappals in the shoe stand, you enter the most sacred place the meditation hall. There are a fleet of stairs to climb ofcourse railings are provided. Switching off your cell phones, a huge hall welcomes you. There are two partitions - men, women separate seating. Pin drop silence is maintained. Statue of Sri Ramakrishna pa Ramachandra is seen, where you could pray for as long as you want. Coming out you should take a small round the temple which is full of green gardens and lovely flowers. As you exit, your eyes won't miss the boardings, on the left side is the library and a full of the temple with well maintained garden. A landmark spot of chennai.

Such a peaceful place amidst the noisy crowd! A surreal place to seek peace and help yourself reflect on your life. I can say I felt peace there

The ambience is ideal for meditation. Over a hundred years old, this place stands out for its serenity and cleanliness. The positive energy is all over. The Aarthi in the evening is a crowning glory. The floral decorations are matchless. The Math does extraordinary philanthropy without any distinction. The garden is one of the best in the city and maintained so well. A must visit in Chennai

Calm & Neat place: Every new year I hangout with my friends to this place. Very calm and neatly maintained. If anyone wants to relax mind and heart, try this place. Recently renovated and well maintained. Parking: We can drive bike as well as car to this place. Has a medium parking inside the campus itself. Library: It has a large library inside and it will operated between 11 AM and 5 PM. We can read the books at free of cost. Book Stall: It also contains a small book stall. We can get books at affordable price.

It is a serene place that calms me down. The architecture is marvellous. The management undertakes renovation work periodically. There are several species of plants around the universal temple. This place is a cultural landmark dedicated to Ramakrishna Paramhansa, a great spiritual guru of the nineteenth century. In addition, he was also the spiritual guru of his famous disciple Vivekananda. Other places near this math are the universal temple, meditation hall, cultural and spiritual books showroom, and more. There is a car parking facility available near the universal temple. There is a charitable dispensary and diagnostic centre near this place as well. People are not allowed to take photos inside the main temple to maintain the sanctity of the place.
