Non veg meals too good n nandu kolambu woow I like it very kind staff's behavior.i saw in yesterday no one here I take photo also see it. but I went to inside no seat available I'm shocked after I completed my lunch I take full view dinning n non veg collection one of the best hotel n karaikkudi THANKYOU Sri priya mess Lunch is wonderful

I went here after reading all the reviews and as suggested by all, food is really tasty. You can choose the thali options like chicken thali, Prawn Thali and so on where u will get 2 veg dishes, nonveg gravy and respective non-veg dish. Thali starts from 230/-. Vegetarians will not have any option, they will give you rasam, one veg kulambu and buttermilk. You can also purchase non veg items separately for 120/- to 140/- It's a crowded congested place so ambience wise I didn't like it but worth going for the food.

One of the best place to have lunch with lot of varieties... Budget friendly lunch place.. Nattukozhi gravy, Crab gravy, Chicken gravy, Mutton gravy, Fish gravy, Mutton Bone soup, Rasam and Curd... These are the items they are providing for only meals... They having much of Dry items.... I tried Mutton brain fry and Rabbit roast both are really so nice to have... Especially their service is really outstanding... They welcome you with the great Vanakkam... And they will serve the food like the people serves in our own home...

For Chettinad dishes, It is a nice place to have lunch which include unlimited rice, with finger liking mutton, fish, Chicken & Goli soda. All the chettinad dishes is bit spicy in taste so be prepare. Hospitality of serving staff is vey nice, they will serve you like there personal guest.

Priya mess was the choice of suggestion when we enquired about the best place to try karaikudi style cuisine. The mess had a parking , which was a great relief. The ambience was average and food tasted decent. The hospitality can be lot more better. Nothing to complain about but having travelled to far ends of our country. I have experienced much better hospitality. The service person didn't give us much options. We really hoped if they served us the menu. It was rice , served with different types of gravies. The gravies were good and the best part is we could feel the true essence of the masala. We also ordered for fish , chicken, kadai and prawns. I really hoped if they could have served a vanjiram fish. That was my expectations on ordering and being in karaikudi. The prawns was really good and rest were decent. The Quantity could have been more for the price charged. On visiting Priya mess , don't have too high expectations but the place isn't disappointing either.

It is a nice place for pure south Indian chettinad style lunch which include unlimited rice, with finger liking mutton, fish, Chicken & Goli soda is charry on the cake. All the food is bit spicy in taste so be prepare. Hospitality of serving staff is vey nice, they will serve you like there personal guest. Person on the bill counter is very rude, he should know how to customers. After talking to the serving staff what i understand this restaurant is been Run by entire family, Husband handles the Billing counter Wife make the food in morning and take care of serving in the Noon.

Always I had lunch at this hotel, whenever I visit karaikudi. Unfortunately the taste and quality of food have dropped nowadays. all the food items were cold and gravys were almost taste same and food cost have increased. I hope, the management should focus to get their legacy back. Totally disappointed with today service and food taste. I has been recommended my friends circle about this hotel. Sadly I don't recommend anyone this hotel hereafter.
