My favourite temple. I like to go there with my parents wherever God lets me, I will visit this temple. From national highways only a few kilometres this temple is located. Nearby another temple is there, ranganathar temple. 5000yrars old temple please visit this temple also.
Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal Temple is located at Thiruparkadal village in Ranipet District. This temple is considered to be a unity of Shivam and Vaishnavam, where Tirumal stands on God Siva to show the world both of them are one and same. Besides Tiruvonam starrer woshiping in the temple for relief from doshas they face. And another temple next to one,Ranaganathar pallikonda kolam very beautiful one. The temple timings: Morning: 7.30AM to 12.00 noon Evening: 4.30 PM to 7.30 PM. Worship and divine, famous temple.
This temple is old one. Here Perumal standing on top of Avudai. To show that both Shiva and Vishnu are same. Very rare kind of temple in this posture. This is 107th Divya Desam.
Old temple but has been renovated. In a remote village named Thirupaarkadal. As the name says the temple is considered 107th Divya desam on earth.
One of the pleasant temple. Speciality is the temple is considered as 107th Divya desam temple equivalent among 108 Divya desam. The temple holds Lord shiva and Perumal located at one karuvarai together which states the meaning that " Ariyim sivanum ondru"
Must visit once in a lifetime because out of 108 Divya Desam only 106 is in the earth and rest is in the space. But these 2 temples replicate 107 & 108 Divya desam
A temple where people can feel the silence and god Voice at the same time. This temple comes under one of the Divya Desam. Two temples are located parallel to each other. There is a proverb "Hari & Siva are one who doesn't know have only sand in their mouth". That proverb is proved here with their sculpture. As I went before day of Ekadasi was not able to see fully the lord at that time it was thailaya kappa. Planning to visit again to see the sculpture The story begins about a rishi called "Poundariga" who usually fasts on Ekadesi days & has breakfast only after having darshan of lord Vishnu. On fasting on a particular Ekadesi day he left Kanchipuram for his some work & was travelling back to his place at that time he wanted to finish his fasting after having darshan of his Lord Vishnu. On his way back he couldn't find a Vishnu temple & saw only Siva temples. At Thiruparkadal Village also he saw only Lord Siva. On the way to the temple he was about to faint due to his hunger at that time old Brahmin asked him u look hunger can I get u some food to eat at that time he explained about his fasting towards lord Vishnu. But, the old man said in 2 Km there is a Lord Vishnu temple & u can do ur devotion and can finish his fasting. But there is lord shiva temple only in that place where he mentioned . He went inside the temple and saw lord shiva there and questioned the Brahmin about it & now the Brahmin said due to ur hunger u couldn't differentiate between Lord Siva & Lord Vishnu & asked him to go back inside. So, he went inside & to his surprise he saw Lord Prassanna Venkatachalapathy in the Sanctum Sanctorem.Actually, it was Lord Siva but he manifested as Lord Vishnu (Prasanna Venkatachalapathy) to prove his devote that Lord Vishnu & lord shiva are same. If u visit this temple u can see lord vishnu is standing on top of the lord shiva peetam. As I mentioned in the proverb lord shiva and lord Vishnu are same. This story I heard from my friends so if u want to know more ask the priests in the temple they will explain u in detail.
Must visit Perumal temple. Silent and most powerful Divya Desam. it's a beautiful place to visit. One perumal in Sayana Kolam is made of Atthi Maram and it's an original Athhi Varadhar vigraham.
