Sri Mohan Rao Military Hotel - Restaurant in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

This is a 68 years old hotel which has maintained its delicacy. Mutton biryani was awesome and the gravy given alongside was excellent. Kheema balls curry was kinda OK OK Hardly 10 to 20 people can only be accommodated. Not suitable for family. Zero ambience. Parking is a constraint and the cars have to be parked on the main road.

Was walking near Yelahanka Santhe, when I came across this small place. Old hotel + millitary attached to the name, so was tempted to try. Very small place, hardly 10/15 ppl can be seated. No menu or rates displayed anywhere. Ordered ragi mudde and mutton. To my surprise bought the mutton curry in the smallest plate possible and that too with just bones. I hardly could find the meat. Rs170 was charged for bones and some gravy. It is not even single serve, mini serve maybe. Refer to the pic to what I meant by the size of the plate. Absolutely not worth taste wise and certainly not inexpensive for the quantity they are serving. Tried the kheema balls and again no distinct taste of mutton. It felt like eating a vada for 170 bucks!!! The gravy is same for all the items and again no taste. 4 wheeler parking not possible, as this is on a busy road. Overall waste of money and wouldn't recommend anyone to eat mutton here..

Old school Military Hotel!! One of the best mutton pulao you can have. Humble eatery, amazingly appropriate portions of food and quick service. Piping hot fresh food on your plate. Try the Kheema balls and chicken fry as well. Might have to wait a bit to get seated as there's always a huge rush.

Good place for break fst and lunch. They server Kaal soup and neer dose which is bery tasty. Getting seat is very difficult on Sunday's. They serve Chicken Fry, Neer dose, kaal soup, idly for breakfast. In lunch they surve most of chicken and mutton varieties. Try to visit as early as possible. It's a small hotel which can occupy hardly 20 to 25 people. So you will have to wait for seating if it's fully occupied. Prices are avg not so expensive as well. You have to try here at least once. For family it is not recommended but you can take away the food and chill out at home.. Hope this helps. Cheers

Very authentic Marati style of food. Must try Biriyani and kheema ball . rasam is owesome..mutton gravy bit thicker and spicy ..raitha is very unique.... price is ok...visit once here.

Best non veg hotel in Yelahanka. Early morning Neer dosa and kall soup is a must try for everyone. Afternoon lot of options will be available.

One of the best military hotels in Yelahanka. Biriyani is good. But other dry items taste excellent. Very economical.

Best rasam I've had after my mum's. Old village ambience, simple and down to earth staff. No fuss. Delicious food. Not open for breakfast. Parking can be an issue.
