It's is a very beautiful 13th century hoysala temple located 2km from Krishnarajapete bus stand, 60km from Mysore, 60km from Hassan, 62km from Mandya and 170km from Bengaluru. The temple has 3 garbagudies with Narayana swamy in the central garbagudi facing east, Venugopalaswamy in the left garbagudi facing north and Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy in the right garbagudi facing south. Also Lord Ganesha and Goddess Durga in small mantapa next to central garbagudi. Lakshmi Devi temple is also der. U can see beautiful hoysala architecture both inside as well as outside the temple.

It's one of the most beautiful and well maintained Hoysala era temple in a beautiful & exceptionally clean village. The evening time is best for the light makes the temple glow different. The interiors are equally marvellous and the compound is decently maintained. It's a small place but will require atleast an hour to appreciate its beauty. The place should be preferably visited in personal vehicle and the nearest big place is Krishnarajpet for frequent public transport
What an incredible treasure is this temple. I feel the scriptures are revealing a lot of information and secrets. And it'll be a great move if we can preserve these type of temples with immense care and Love. Hats off to those who built the temple with so precision and accuracy. It is our duty to protect the temple and it's environment Ramayan, Dasavathara, Krishna Lifting govardhan parvath etc can be found on the various scriptures
