One of the finest Shri Lakshmi Narasimhar temple, in Narasingapuram is about 55 kms from Chennai on Arakkonam highway. Clean and well maintained. The main deity Shri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in santha swaroopam in sitting position with Shri Lakshmi Thaayaar on the lap. Divine with blessings. Large Periya Thiruvadi (Karudazhwar) in a small mandapam in front. Seperate 8 small sannidhis for Ashtalakshmis around the pragaram. Sri Maragathavalli Thaayaar and Sri Andal Nachiaar in seperate sannidhis.
Must visit temple at least once in a lifetime.
Well maintained temple ancient temple. God Narasimmar with Goddess Lakshmi temple. Usually Goddess Lakshmi seeing God Narasimmar face in all temples to calm down his angry. But here God Narasimmar was in pleasant mood. So Goddess Lakshmi seeing daities with happy. All our prayers are successful if we complete 32 rounds of Goddess Lakshmi's shrine. Pleasant atmosphere.
Very peaceful and best beautiful place
There was a slight drizzling on the day we had visited the temple. Opposite this temple, there is a Sri Hanuman temple. They had paved vitrified tiles for the flooring there. It was very slippery on that rainy day. You've to be careful there. P. S. On our way back home, the rainbow was surprise treat to the eyes.
The priest in thayar sannithi showing faces to everyone. Spoiled my day with his grumpy attitude. Priests should understand one thing that people coming here with lot of problems. For them temples are final vent. Plz don't hurt their feelings.
Very good vibrations in and around this temple. Very neat and tidy inside the temple. Roads from Poonamallee are excellent. Local people here are very friendly and warm. Greenery is surrounded in and around this area. Heard from localities that the temple is special for swathi nakshatra and special pooja are done on every 28th day of the monthly calendar.
