Very ancient temple built in Pallava period. I personally visit this temple for the past around 25 years. Not only me, all residents truly consider very close to us. I have seen people inviting the priest to our family functions & events. That's how we respected this man. But recently we were shocked to note that this old priest shows partiality among devotees. The residents treated him with great respect for the past more than 30 years; when this temple was then a small shrine surrounded by farming and non developed calm village. I still visit the temple but I directly spend time worshipping Narashima Perumal & leave without expecting or entertaining these wicked people, as I have self respect. Very sad now a days after this incident.
The experience in the temple is divine ! There is a sense of strength and calmness at the same time. The temples also hosts Goddess Padmavathi and Lord Hanuman apart from the presiding deity of Lakshmi Narasimhar
