Beautiful shrine dedicated to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy is located on a hill, which is about 12 km from Nizamabad and believed to have been built by the rulers of Rasyhrakuta dynasty. This temple is famous for Asthamukhi pushakarini lake on top of the hill and pilgrims believe it as sacred to take a holy dip in Koneru. Good temple to visit, must have had very good legacy in the past. It is very old temple and that's what makes it worth visiting. We saw lot of people having vana bojanalu after temple visit.

A favourite place near to my hometown and a historical one too on hill. Always enjoyed visiting this place with group of family and good option for a day out.. The idol of main god Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy is unique and beautiful. The pond at temple premises is well known for bathing with belief to clear our sins if any.
