This is one of the best veg hotels in Mangalore especially Urva. I feel the place is totally underrated compared to other restaurants. While the ambience is just normal this place stands out in its excellent service and authentic taste of the food. One can get all the local delicacies here. You can get the aroma of fresh spices in their Sambar and Chutney. Taste of the food is authentic and yum. A special note on the stewards here, they are very attentive, caring and soft-spoken. They stand near by to tend to your special needs of extra sambar , chutney or cutlery. Also always wear a smile on their face. Prices are reasonable .

If you are in Mangalore, this is a must visit for local eateries. Surprisingly, even if ur here early in the morning all items made freshly are available. The delicacies are absolutely local and what's not normally found in 98% of the hotels. That too the variety available is huge. Just go with good appetite and enjoy the food here. The place looks very hygienic and well maintained. Variety of eateries the key here.

Breakfast: it was good. Idli sambar dip, Vada and KT was tasty. Lunch: we had triple fried rice. It was spicy and tasted good. Snacks: dahi puri was awesome. Service was quick. Limited parking space for private vehicles.

It's a vegetarian hotel with average food. They have a wide range of menu. I tried the buns, masala dosa and coffee. The buns started off well but it got painful as I ate. The middle part had too much dough and it was different to eat. The masla dosa's batter seemed old. It tasted sour and was very unpleasant. The masala tasted good. The chutney was bad however the sambar tasted good. The coffee was decent. Their service was poor, he was inattentive and got wrong orders. I wished he served food with a smile. Overall it felt like just another mediocre restaurant.

We had been for breakfast and had Ghee roast masale dose, Poori bhaji, KT and Goli baje....Dose was superb but Goli baje was ok.

Delicious vegetarian meal as the best in coastal karnataka. The curries have distinctive flavors of mangalore.

We ordered Goli Bujji, Samosa and Onion Pakoda, for all items same chutney was given and taste also not so good. They have to give 2-3 variety of chutney's. Service staff & response to be improved.
