Sri Kappata Malleshwara Daivi vana - Ecological park in Gadag - Gadag, India

It's just lovely. Mainly during August to march, u will se fogg, cold weather and versatile scenery of nature. Just 30km from Gadag. Road is almost good. There are two buses for Malleshwara temple in a day from gadag for go and back to gadag. If u want enjoy fully please go with your personal vehicle bike or car. Take picnic food items for full enjoy. A small village is near for anything u want to purchase. Just plan for early morning at here around 5AM, best time to visit. Gadag to Kappata road beauty is filled with beautiful fields and wind energy fans that are installed near the highway,best for photography.

All generation people especially younger generation must place to visit to know value plants and importance of its perseverance..... Garden of Herbs neatly maintained with lots of Herbal plants.. So many birds nested here..water preservation tasks were good...Guard of the park was polite and gives you the needed information...

Eco park located amidst the Green hills. I really appreciate the forest department's effort to make it a plastic free zone. But I saw only one dustbin in the entire park.There is a small circular pond which is a drinking water source for the wild animals like Boars, Jackels wolves etc. But they will come only during night. Park is big. Almost all Ayurvedic medicinal plants and herbs that are available in Kappatagudda has been planted here and they are still growing. One can bring their own lunch and have inside the park but throwing any plastic or any garbage strictly prohibited.

Good place for a picnic, no public amenities, we should carry our own things.
