Stayed as a guest for four days. Sprawling club, lot of trees and greenery adjacent to the Lake and Zoo. Apparently land for the club was donated by the Mysore Royalty. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food tastes good and not pricey. Staff are courteous. What could have been better for us is their room service and food service. Average waiting time when you order a beverage or breakfast can be 30 minutes. You are lucky if they don't forget your order. Looks there is a shortage of service staff in the morning. Most of the service staff know only Kannada.

Great place to chill out with friends. Very budget friendly and delicious food. Draught beer is Available. The Biryani was delicious before but the taste has reduce since a month or so. The Egg chilly is epic. They have a nice lawn seating area during the evenings. They do play live matches on the projector. They have started providing idles ice cream with some classic recipes like Parafit and Gadbud. Must try

It is one of the prestigious recreation and social clubs founded in 1933 with a member strength of more than 1300. When we enter the club the only thing which impresses everyone is they have retained old structures and even the interiors as it was used by the Maharaja of Mysore. The club is very huge and spacious. When we enter the lobby which is members only, we can see the luxurious interiors with stuffed animals hunted by our rulers. The place has built new cottages and rooms with AC with multi cuisine dining, bar, lawn, lounge and party hall. All kinds of sports activities are indoor and outdoor with a swimming pool and children's park. The club is beside Karanji lake on the way to Chamundi hills.

Ambience was nice but that was all that this place had to offer. We ordered number of snacks and north Indian menu for dinner. The qty of all the snacks we ordered was very less. The prep of snacks and dinner was far below expectations. We are more than certain that we're not visiting the place again.

Stayed here , at the lovely old surroundings ! It is mainly for club members and affiliate members ! Out group , 10 of us had booked 4 rooms at the Heritage building . We could park our cars right in front of the cottages. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The club was an old classic building . There is a nice Yezdi Club for the drinks. A seperate gazebo were we had our drinks in the afternoon. Food and snacks were good . Mutton was good. The atmosphere was good and quiet. Lots of birds chirping at the nearby trees. Memorable stay with our friends group here A few rules one need to follow at the club. Proper shoes , Tshirts with collors only. We got up early next morning a and went for a nice walk at the nice Karanji park which is just next to it.
