The Mutt is very clean and neat. Well maintained by the management. After noon Aarthi I attended. There was full silence and very peaceful atmosphere. The Great Chandrasekara Saraswati and Jayendra Saraswati Brindavan is so beautiful. Anyone visit will get very peaceful and Guru Blessings.

Sri kanchi kamakoti peetham, also known as the sri kanchi matham, or the sri kanchi monastery, or the sarvagna peetha, is a hindu monastery located in kanchipuram, tamil nadu. It is located near a temple dedicated to goddess sri kamakshi and a shrine to advaita vedanta teacher adi shankara. The matha is a living tradition that continues to pursue spiritual scholarship in modern times. since february 2018, vijayendra saraswathi shankaracharya swamigal has been the head of the institute.
Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham was established by sri Adhi Shankaracharya in the year 482 B.C. and has the distinction of an unbroken line of 70 Acharyas (spiritual leaders). Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, also called the Sri Kanchi Matham or the Sarvagna Peetha is a Hindu institution, located in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. It is located near a temple dedicated to Goddess Sri Kamakshi (Durga, Kamakoti, Maha Tripurasundari) of the Shaktism tradition, along with a shrine for the Advaita Vedanta teacher Adi Shankaracharya. The Kanchi Math was originally established as the Kumbakonam Mutt in 1821 as a branch of the Sringeri Mutt and later became involved with the Kamakshi temple in Kanchipuram. According to the Sri Kanchi math tradition, the matha was founded at Kanchipuram, and shifted south to the temple city of Kumbakonam in mid-18th-century due to the on-going wars, when there was warfare in the region, and returned to Kanchipuram in the 19th century. The founding of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam is traditionally attributed by its adherents to Adi Shankara, but this and the reliability of the matha's succession list has been questioned. Sringeri matha rejects the claims of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, and does not count it among the mathas established by Shankara. According to Clark, the story of the four cardinal mathas founded by Shankara dates from the 16th century, questioning the founding stories off all those mathas. The Kamakoti Peetam means "the Throne of the End of Desires". It is the symbol in union of work, love and knowledge-enjoyed, assimilated and gained as an enduring vision of life. It vindicates strenuous, selfless action in daily life. According to a tradition developed in the 16th century, Adi Shankara set up four monasteries known as Mathas or Peethams, in the North, South, East and West of India, to be held by realised men who would be known as Shankaracharyas. The four mathas of Adi Shankara are: Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetam in Chikmaglur in Karnataka. Jyotir Matha in the Garhwal region in Uttarakhand. Kalika Matha in Dwarka in Gujarat. Govardhana Matha in Puri in Odisha.
Been a long time devotee of Kachi maha periya. He is powerful and his samadhi is visited by many folks all over. Have fond memories of meeting him when I was a small kid.
Very busy place where the samadhis of Maha Periyava and Jayendra Saraswathi are situated. Devotees of Kanchi Acharyas keep pouring in here for blessings and to perform yagnas.
Bang on road, if you don't find parking in the premises, take a left ( the road in which bus is not going) you will find enough parking. This is serine place where one can mediate.
