Visited during afternoon last week. Felt wonderful atmosphere near temple surroundings and lake was so beautiful. The fishes in the lake will grab your attention and few of them feed the food to the fishes. Some re construction is going on so few temples were closed.

Another important old Lord Shiva temple in Kanchipuram close to Maa Kamakshi Amman temple, which is going under renovation BUT open for Bholenath darshan at usual hours. Kachabeshwarar temple was built around 8-9th century and represent significant values! Here Lord Vishnu as Kachap/turtle worshipped Lord Shiva. Though I reached here around 6.30pm but had a great time with ritual Puja by purohit with blessings. Most other temple is closed for renovation but might operate soon as they are finished up. There is a pond inside, which is a peaceful place to sit down n have rested. Om Namah Shiva n Om Namo Bhagwate Narayan Hari blessings!

Another ancient and beautiful temple in Kanchipuram, but does not see many visitors it seems . The premises is vast with cool ,wide pavilions which are so peaceful that local students use it for undisturbed studying ! Tank is also large and clean . Very peaceful and serene place . At present , some cleaning work is going in .
