One of the must visit temple in Mangalore. As always the temple is peaceful and calm. Good parking space is available, luggage room is there, well maintained. Temple provides food in the morning, afternoon and night. Pooja time is 12:30 pm.

The vibes you get at this temple is beyond my ability to describe. The incense fumes near God's idol, and just the whole natural light & setting..made me feel blessed. You also get a good view of nature from there. There's also an office where they sell sarees draped on the Goddess at a reasonable price.

Beautiful and the representative are awesome. Has few senior citizen and without asking they moved the lines for aged people. Always smiling.

Sri Durga parameshwari temple kateel is the very famous temple in Dakshina kannada. Here devi duraparameshwari was very power full god. All over karnatakaand inda people visit this temple and take darshana... And Mangalore jasmine and Hoovina pooje is very special pooja to devi, this temle was surrounded by Nandini Rivers. That was very beautifull to see the temple. And also very famous is here anna prasadam... Dont mis here anna prasadam. Must visit this temple..

A very divine goddess Shree Durga Parameshwari resided on the bank of river Nandini.. If you are on the way to Udupi from Mangalore or vice versa you can visit here. Parking is available in front of the temple. Advance booking room is better. If you didn't get rooms, there is a separate bathroom and toilets are available which are very clean and can be fresh up here but no hot water. Inside the temple river path is there. Very beautiful goddess Kateelappe Morning breakfast will be provided up to 10AM. Lunch starts at 11AM. Elephant Mahalakshmi is there
