A religious place. The temple is located beside a lake (Bhadrakali Lake). New temple structures have been built on top of the older stone temple. This older stone structure can only be glimpsed at, from the outside, but experienced in full once completely inside the temple. No photos are allowed to be taken inside the main temple, but are allowed outside. There is also a park attached to the temple. There are also a couple other small temples other than the main Bhadrakali temple. BEWARE: 1. There are monkeys. 2. Although there is no ticket required for Darshan, there are 50/- and 100/- tickets to skip the queue. This is especially useful when one needs to avoid the crowd and wants to directly go inside. This is useful on Friday as there is more crowd on that day.

It's a very old temple with a lot of devotees coming in every day. We went on weekend and we were in a queue for 30min during the non-festive season. There is a dedicated car parking lot just in front of the temple gate. Mobile and Bags were allowed - use of phone in main temple is prohibited There is paid prasadam if you want one.
