Sri Aurobindo Shisu Udyaan and Mini Zoo - Park in Midnapore - Medinipur West, India

For kids it's a very good children's park with few animals.

Best park in town for kids. Entry fee is only 5 and children below 5yr goes free. The park is quite large and has lot of attraction for kids. Ample sitting places for adults.The zoo might not be that exciting. Only few animals are there. But what can you expect at Rs-5.on the other hand, the aquarium is quite good. Lots of turtles are also there. Since this park is exclusively for kids, it become very crowded on weekends. However, since there are so many things to do, ample place to run around, kids don't get bored. I think you can also book a small portion of the park for family events and functions.

Shisu Udyan is the name which is known to my childhood times. This place also called for Sri Arabinda Shisu Uddyan. It's located at near LIC of just walk in 5 minute.. Near by of mahatma gandhi statue of khudiram Nagar... Here you can go with your child from every week and feel the atmosphere like beautiful.. Here you can see Dear, Egals, Turkeys, Ginipic, White Rat, Ostrich, Emu Bird, Fish Aquarium, peacock, monkeys, rabbits, Duck, turtles, piegons, and many animal here you played with seesaws, swing, sliders and here also a theaters that's called 3D cinema Hall like child special and you go to the hall were also a 3D color glaces and much more. Here is a many show's like 30 minutes and ticket you can buy just 30 rupees and shisu udyan ticket is 10 ruppes only and parking free.. Here have two toilet's like Male and female.. In the mai road of LIC and opposite of Jila Parishad Bhaban and near of Sahoo Hotel...

small park for kids within the town. entry fee is Rs.5/- per person. well maintained, but need to keep some more different types of animals in the zoo.

Nice place for kids to have fun. But abundance of mosquitoes is a concern. Authority should take necessary measure else the place may become source of diseases for the visitors.

I have many childhood memories here. Very good place, specially for kids and also it suitable for picnic spot

A very good place to spend time with your family. Children love it for the various activities available for them and the small zoo which has good variety of birds and small animals Here you will find Emu, Deers, turtles, hamsters, turkeys, etc

My little boy love to come here because this is only place of this type in town. Have few animals which is not maintained well. Have some play facilities for kids. Mainly parents with their little ones came here in evening time.
