Sri Anjaneya Swami Devasthana - Hindu temple in Mulbagal - Kolar, India

Wonderful and Divinely vibe !! Temple is very old (around 700 years) and has mythical history too. Temple complex is big and has numerous different temples other than main hanuman and each idol is very beautiful. I see lack of basic amenities inside temple premises and authorities needs to work on improving the facilities and keeping the place clean. Note: No specific parking lot is availavle, Street side parking is available for vehicles and chargeable too.

Great divine and peaceful temple of Anjaneya (Hanuman). In the mid of mulbhagal town and next to bus stand. This campus houses various avatars of lord Vishnu. You can visit all near by temples in one visit like Garuda temple, kurudmale Ganesha temple, someshwara temple.

A beautiful temple, calm and peaceful. It's an old and famous temple in the kolar district.

A beautiful temple. With the old idols and pillars it gives an amazing olden days feel which is a complete miss in the new temples.

Ancient Hanuman(Anjaneya) temple. Carvings are mind blowing. Peaceful, divine. Really gives eternal peace. Small market is there around the place. It's next to the Bus depot at Mulbagal.

I visited this place twice and both times it was a crowd-less day. It is quite a peaceful place and it has a very positive vibe to it. Of course, all places of worship are meant to be peaceful and positive, but this has a different aura. The fragrance of fresh flowers being woven into garlands and the aroma of the filter coffee being brewed in the local tiffin centres give you a very warm welcoming feel. This is what makes it such a special place.

Very old and beautiful temple. There are other beautiful temples inside this temple. There is no good parking facility here. Temple needs more development since thousands of devotees visit here every day and more on weekends. This temple is very peaceful and has more history behind this which is very beautiful.

This temple was constructed during the period of Vijayanagara rulers. The initial temple is believed to be around 5000 years old. The idol of Lord Veeranjaneya carved out of black granite stone is nearly 12 feet tall. According to legend the idol of Anjaneya was installed by one of the Pandava brothers after the war of the Mahabharata. There are many small shrines of 'Lord Rama, Lakshmana and Sita which is believed to be installed by Sage Vashista. There is an idol of 'Venkateshwara' believed to have been installed by 'Brigu Maharshi' and also a small shrine dedicated to 'Padmavathi. There is a lizard carved on the wall covered by a brass shield .There are shrines of Lord Ranganatha, Lord Lakshmi Narasimha and Lord Chennakeshava in the temple complex.
