I first visited this place in 1994 and I used to frequently visit till 2000 when I was staying and working here in Coimbatore. Now I visited after 23 years and the taste and quality of the biryani has remained the same and it is well preserved.. The this biryani is all about the aroma.. it light on the spices and the stomach as well.. It's 100% worth to go and enjoy a different Biryani..
We searched for this restaurant and then went there! This was my mom and dad favorite briyani hotel years ago. So they took me here. They changed the location now. As per their opinion the taste has come down 50%. Reason not known. But I tried this 1st time okayish briyani Mild flavors without hard taste. Chicken sides were awesome without doubt. But I suggest everyone atleast once to try this place.
Angannan Hotel is by far the worst dining experience I've ever had. I ordered the chicken 74 dish, and to my horror, it arrived with visible traces of fresh blood, making it completely inedible. Not only was the chicken unacceptable, but the overall quality of the food was abysmal. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
We had mutton biryani taste was average Good not bad.but price was higher I feel.
Had mutton Briyani, nice and special Leg was awesome. Atmosphere was not good. Its actually a popular hotel but looks like no maintenance. Should improve ambience in this competitive world.
Great place. But quantity is way too less. It's pretty expensive. But food quality and taste is absolutely exceptional. I ordered their special mutton chuka, chicken biryani, prawn chilly, and fish fry. Also some lime juice. Seating is great and location is good.
The food was good and it felt light for stomach but the quantity of the food and price , it was very less for the price they charge for the food . It was a total disappointment. Coming to biryani it's not the typical Dindugal or Ambur biryani , it's a chicken pulav that tastes really good with their chicken salna or gravy . Heard from my parents that it's Been very famous in Coimbatore for ages still doesn't justify the cost though .

A good restaurant in mettuppalayam road near Ganga hospital. This is a good option for non veg Kerala style food .we had Malabar style chicken biryani and chicken fried rice .I prefer to give 5star rating for this.
