Sri Anantha Shayana Temple - Hindu temple in Holalu - Ballari, India

Felt blessed after seeing the Lord Vishnu statue. Its a unique temple of Lord Vishnu and must visit place We visited late evening, but temple was closed, so we called the mobile number which was displayed and Poojari come and opened the temple. We spent quite a good amount of time and the atmosphere was very devotional.

This is definitely the most gorgeous vishnu temple I have ever visited in Karnataka... This is one of my all time favourite temples... It's right up there with the most stunning temples... The idol of Lord Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy is carved out of Saligrama stone (Saligrama Shile)...

Historical place..! According to localities the idol should have been in Hospete ( Hospet ) , dar is a temple built for this idol but while shifting the idol suddenly sun raised so they left it here itself . The temple in Hospet is still empty .

Lord Sri ranganatha swami statue is very big. This is one of best temple of lord Sri ranganatha swami. This temple is oldest temple and renovated. The present architecture is excellent, they made space to sit and pray God. Parking space is available. Visit once.

Anantha Padmanabha swami Vigraha supposed to be transported to Anantha Shayana Gudi at Hampi HOSPET. Very nice Vigraha of Vijayanagara era. A very big temple built for this God at Anantha Shayana Gudi is still waiting for this Murthy.
