Food taste is authentic and the options they provide are superb. We get a good variety. The food here is homely so even if we eat continuously will be ideal for per health. Their food is very tasty and hygienic. Their service needs improvement. Evening service is newly started. They start serving at 7 and due to heavy rush ordering and getting food served is taking time. Some level of streamlining required in order placement, serving and billing.

Though there are some shortfalls, the taste, the quality of food, and quantity of food is just far far better than the other hotels in Madurai. I am a regular eater there. I have seen that almost 4 or 5 Doctors from that area take food regularly in Sri Acharya Bhavan. Some of the negative remarks seems to be cooked up and misguide the new comers. I have gone and seen their kitchen and their statement of using virgin oil, No dalda, No ajinomoto or additives or preservatives is true. In this world of high rising grocery and vegetable , manpower costs, the pricing they have now is a reasonable one. I am a widely traveled person and this one doesn't harm my stomach and body. SO the food is good for stomach, as far as my experience with Hotels in India. I can rate this food as one of the best in the country.

Just back visited their another branch which is located in Duraisamy Nagar. When I asked earlier they said will provide curry like sambar, rasam anything each 30 rupees. So today I bought Vathakulambu and rasam each 30 rs paid 60 rupees. But when I look the quantity its very worst not value for money. The full meal cost is 120 where we can get sambar, rasam, buttermilk, Vathakulambu and any 2 vegetables along with payasam, appalam.. But the same quantity of vathakulambu and rasam I bought 60 rupees. Don't prefer this hotel to buy curry alone... Not value for money..

Had ordered meals few days back from here and that was my first order with them. Honestly, the meals was simply good with sufficient vegetables and taste was good too. Suited the tummy. Though it was an online order, they had maintained the quality unlike many other restaurants here in kalavasal byepass road. Planning for a dine in sometime soon. Hope they maintain the quality ever after.

A blessing for Brahmins to take their unique Lunch.. lunch items are available without onion.. Excellent service personnel.. food is not like hotel food but it's authentic home food...

Though the place doesn't look perfect I've enjoyed a hearty meal after so long with very little price. Highly recommend and most healthiest food is served in this place.

Very much hyped..poor service. Taste is good. But overpriced for the quality of the food...better options are available in madurai...

This is a pucca home made food experience I wouldn't say taste is out of world but it's really good if you wanna have homemade food outside also. For tiffin to lunch particularly in lunch they don't serve varieties only meals was available when I visited Last time taste of it is good as said homely taste without additives. In tiffin starting stages they didn't serve much varieties now they have started to have few varieties for dinner. But the quantity they prepare is really small, if crowd comes more than what they expect all dishes go out of availability I've been here three all three times same experience. So if you wish to go here go very early maybe they might have more availability of even side dishes too. Staff and service can be much much better they behave and serve like a mess it's more often of its kind only. But they need to act quick and brisk which I didn't find particularly when it is crowded it has to be taken into consideration. Heared they are open for more than a year but still the amateur feeling in serving and maintaining hotel with food availability is visible. This has to be corrected. Again Food taste has no big problems in it. Pricing is nominal I would say but can be atleast 5 to 10rs lesser when it comes to every dish particularly the meals costing 130 is more I feel as even bigger restaurants nearby serve for 110 to 120
