This temple is dedicated to Varaha Avatar of Vishnu ji. This temple is just 1 kilometer far away from Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. The largest temple pond in Thiruvananthapuram is situated nearby this temple.This is a very sacred temple with the Avathar of Vishnu in Form of varaha and Lekshmi on his lap. Temple also called as LekshmiVaraham Temple. Pooja on Thursday is Very famous.
A typical Kerala style temple with the architectural structures like sanctum sanctum, namaskaramandapa, chuttambalam, balikkalpura, dwajastambha and the stone and wooden structures of this temple comprises sculptures of different hindu gods, goddess and other semi divine characters including, 10 avatars of Vishnu, different forms of Siva, devi, Ramayana and Mahabharatha scenes, Different Naga figures, Shasta, Krishna, Karthikeya, deepa- lakshmis, yogis, rishis. The sculptural works of this temple also includes floral, fauna and mythical creatures.
