Beautiful temple with bharatha puzha flowing besides. During November the car festival is held and the entire village is filled with various stalls.
Superb Shiva temple to visit. I wish to go to the festival in November. The street is amazing and we can buy snacks,pickles.etc from there. There is a river at the back side of the temple.
Situated On the banks of the Kalpathy River this temple takes you back to the good old days and memories that make our mind calm and composed. Temple for Lord Siva and Parvathy.. Meditated and peaceful atmosphere.. Also know as 'kundambalam'.. kalpathi ratholsavam was going on November month every year.. this temple was built in 15th century. Nearby there are so many temples.. vishnu temple, ganapathy temple etc..
One of the best temple in Kalapathy. Lord Shiva temple. Well maintained, clean surroundings. Very crowded at Festival seasons. From bypass junction it's just walkable distance. If you're coming by own vehicle, parking is little bit hustle. Two entrance is there. From East and South. Main entrance is from the East side. Vazhipadu counter is easily accessible.
Words cant describe the happiness and peaceful atmosphere. we love Kalpathy . Ancient temple. Kalpathy village is superb. Nila River. Please visit once in your life time.
