It was my first time to South India, and the experience at this restaurant was the best. I never saw any restaurant having a drinking water tap at your table. Masala dosa was good. Mushroom biryani was the best at only 55/- Rupees. The experience was really amazing. So everyone who is staying near the Madurai railway station can experience this restaurant.
I am a non-vegetarian but became a BIG fann of madurai vegetarian cuisine.

Madurai is probably one of my favourite food cities in India. Just roll up your sleeves and took it upon yourself to make Famous' signature Kothu Parotta. I warn you that it would be spicy and i am not kidding.

Food was too good. Kulcha & Butter chicken was lit. Naan & Tantoori chicken was real good. I'm not a big fan of basmati biriyani so no comments on it.
Overall a very tasty food
No ajinimoto, no added colours, no frozen meat. Also food is cooked in naturally prepared chekku oil which helps in easy digestion. A theme family restaurant with quality food.
