SREE NARAYANA GURUKULAM CHEMPAZHANTHY - Featured Reviews (756)
Sree Narayana Guru was born here, in the house of Vayalvarom. His birth house has been carefully preserved and protected by a newly built mandapam. There is also a small temple dedicated to him on the premises. The climate here is pleasant and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. You will feel a sense of positive energy radiating from this place. To reach here from the Statue, you need to take two buses, one from Sree Karyam Junction.

Really wonderful place to visit. The ambience of the palce is just outstanding and calm and peaceful. This place is best to take a break and relieve you from your stressful life. The spirituality around the place soothe and refreshes you.
Birth place of Sree Narayana Guru, well preserved in its Beauty and substance. There are numerous time captured monuments here, that are worth visiting and embracing. The moment one enters the place, and realises the way of life of people who lived ages nack, we really understand what life is all about. The place is also having a library, toilet and a hall. Parking is limited, maybe 20 cars max. It's worth the visit. Regards
They have kept it well cleaned. But one thing I observed is that they are considering it as temple and worshipping Guru as god, which I feel contradictory action to a person who said, "one religion, one caste and one God for mankind" . He is a scholar, a teacher and not a God. So requesting to treat him like one..he himself might not like it
Chempazhanthy is a hidden gem in Kerala. If you're looking for a peaceful and serene getaway, this town is definitely worth a visit. The beautiful temple, scenic landscapes, and delicious food are sure to leave you with lasting memories. Just be prepared for the lack of modern amenities and plan accordingly.
Birth place of Gurudevan..A very peaceful place.. new constructions and some renovations are now going on. A digital museum on the life and teachings of Sree Narayana Guru will be setting up there.
Home where Sree Narayana Guru Devan was born. It is maintained and kept under a covered roof. A small coconut-tree-leaves- thatched wooden house with a front door and two back doors and the floor is plastered with mud and cow dung mixture. The location is serine and peaceful. The atmosphere is filled with positive energy, the enchantment of Guru's Keerthanam coupled with songs sung by varieties of birds.... Being there I felt as if lifted to a different world... I felt the presence of Guru in my every cells... I couldn't think of a society where Guru is unborn.
