One of my go to places for having snacks and sweets here. Love their chole bhature and chat options, hygienic and great with flavours. The only issue is that they put lots of curd in some of the dishes like Raj kacharoi which overpowers the taste and everything.
Budget friendly, extremely good North Indian food. This is one of the places we go every time we come to this side of Chennai. It's much much better than other some of the expensive North Indian options that I have been in Chennai. Their sweets and snacks are also good. Very authentic and tasty all their food is. Feel good food option.
I have never witnessed such poor service and food quality at Gupta Bhavan before. While most of their branches are known for serving delicious food with excellent service, this particular location seems to neglect customer needs. Lately, it feels like they're treating customers as if they're offering free meals, although no one comes here for that purpose. In terms of food quality, it falls short compared to their other branches. The hygiene standards are also lacking, with broomsticks and mops near dining tables, and it's not free from insects. It's essential to enhance both customer service and food quality.
Food is costly but it was delicious.If you want to eat very very nice food then please try this restaurant.
Good place, but highly priced! Moreover while packing sweets one has to be careful of the heavy cardboxes they pack sweets in...those boxes could weigh as much as 120 gms equivalent to 80-90 Rs of losses in a kilo of sweet, if not adjusted
SGB is always a great veg restaurant. North Indian thali is the best here. Chat and snacks items are delicious. Roadside parking only or very limited space for parking in front of the restaurant. SGB chocolate soan papdi is excellent. Cozy ambience and not much spacious but good for anytime dining. Must try paneer pav bhaji. I recommend this restaurant for all type of food lovers.

Tasty food and quality, but rate is high. Sweets and Namkins are delicious with lot of options. Ambience is not maintained like earlier, house flies, goods kept inside the dining space. Navalur branch is losing it's name , due to Ambience
