Sree Ganesh Inn - Hotel in Palani - Dindigul, India

For our Palani trip, we reserved two rooms. The stay was very good. Rooms are neat and clean, with a view of the temple. Staff were also very friendly. The only disadvantage is that there is no restaurant, but we can order food through Swiggy.

I booked 2 deluxe rooms but after check in time of 12, I was provided only 1 room..as per them other room guy didn't vacate even after check out time. Later I have to cancel the whole booking with waive fees option and I was asked to make new booking after paying Rs. 1000 extra(ie.3500 instead of 2500) for single deluxe room. On the good part, we had reached their early and they had provided us facilities to bath and toilets. We went to Palani hills without checking in the room and our luggage were kept in top floor. I have skipped the "heated exchange of words" part here.

Very poor management and they are not following any booking procedures. If temple is more crowded then they are asking people to vacate immediately and go for another booking with more money. Extremely unfriendly and greedy nature of management. Please don't go to this hotel.

Small rooms, comfortable stay. Hot water available. Bathroom not very clean. No restaurant as mentioned on their website, also the rates are much higher than mentioned on their website, in short- the website is total bogus. There is a drainage canal in front of the hotel, so it stinks when you step out of the hotel. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and helpful. They arranged private tonsuring at payment and provided extra sheets and pillows when asked. It's near the temple, walking distance. The price could be less, 3000 for a tiny family room is expensive. Very much near to adivaaram and we can see the temple on top of the mountain from the entrance of the hotel. Rooms are clean and very much calm which makes a spiritual atmosphere. Food is not available in the hotel however, the room service person will arrange the food by ordering it in online or they will send their staff to go and buy food for us without any delay. Overall it is such a cool environment to stay.

Good for family stay. Decent Hotel with nominal charges. Well behaved Staff.

Very close to temple. Excellent service with neat and clean room having temple view which is price worthy. Such a fantastic view to the temple. Food ordered will get without any delay. Can quickly refer to our friends and relatives without a rethink. Valuable cool environment which a family can spend time happily.

Highly hyped Hotel. The hotel lies in front of a wide and open sewage canal.When they offered a ground floor room, I asked the front desk guy to give a room in the ff because of the fear of mosquito bites. He said that he could do nothing about it as there was no room available in the ff and he also rudely joked about calling the PWD to remove the sewer canal. The toilet looked pathetic and unclean and even the dust bin inside was not cleared of the previous litter. They say it is a new hotel but maintenance of any sort seems to be utterly lacking . Also there is no restaurant. A kettle has been kept with some cheap plastic mugs and God only knows when they had been cleaned. Some rooms do have balconies facing the mountain- "the mountain view rooms". But beware _ you get the "mountain view" only if you deliberately choose to ignore the " sewer view".
