Very Famous and Ancient temple of Lord Hanumanji, Shivji, Mahavishnu ji, and balaji. Very Big premises and full of positive vibes. It is situated in guntur district. A must visit place.

Lord Hanuman temple is a famous temple located in Ponnuru village of Guntur district. Hansumanji statue is seen in gaint form in this temple. We can also see sahasra lingalu and Garudeswara temple here. Akhanda Jyoti tower is the special attraction here. People coming from different places are being attracted to the devotional atmosphere present in the temple premises.

Anjaneya Swami temple is located on main road only and we can park our vehicles to the left side of the road Parking fee board is there when we visited but actually no one collected the fee from us for parking car Chappal stand is available inside the temple and we can also buy goods f Required for Puja and few toys shops are also available inside the temple This temple is sooo big and to the left side water tap is available for washing hands and legs Drinking water is av myailable at the entrance of the templey They are charging certain amount to allow for dharshan of Lord Hanuman and special puja's are also performed and ticket rates are provided The statue of Anjaneya Swami is sooooooooo big it is 24 feet in height and Garuda statue is also tall and big We have venkateshwar swamy dharsha too separate temple is constructed here Even dharsavaatharam temple is available for visit

Art work and sculptures on Temple walls is astounding, I visited this Temple in afternoon during when crowd is less. Temple is spacious and one can sit peacefully and spend some time inside the compound. Just behind the main sanctum, for what purpose i don't know, but, it resembles more like a store room having a opening with a locked single Huge Door. May be it is installed during Britisher's time, now such doors are not commonly seen..

Very powerful and devotional place

Earlier 5 years back its good almost around 1996-2008, now its worst (2018). all selfish people surrounded the temple, for any and everything they are charging money, how a poor devotee visit god ? no free Darsanam, only paid, Wherever endowment Dept., enters there ever the temple culture spoils. spoiled culture of temple compared to earlier. Otherwise its an Amazing temple.

Ponnur Anjaneya Swamy Temple History This temple was built by Kota Jaganatha Swamy in 1969 AD and installed Anjaneya Swamy and Garuda Statues. Anjaneya Swamy is of 24 ft tall, 12 ft wide and 4 ft thickness. This statue carved out of a single black granite rock which was brought under the surveillance of Bhavanarayana Swamy from Edlapadu near Chilakaluripet. There is a temple for Garuda within the temple complex which is of 30 ft tall, 15 ft wide and 6 ft thickness. Temple address Sri Sahasra Lingeswara Swamy and Sri Veera Anjaneya Swamy Devasthanam, Ponnuru, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. Ponnur Anjaneya Swamy Temple Timings and Darshan Opening Hours: 6:00 am - 8:00 pm. Special Darshan Ticket Cost: Rs.5 per person. Timings: 5:00 am - 8:30 pm.

A good powerful worship place .anjineya and gauruda statues are huge in size.very neat and good atmosphere to spend some more time with family. Five more temples are there in the same location.
