After reading lots of mixed reviews about this place, went here on a Wednesday morning. I arrived here by 8:10am and the place was only half full. All the tables had green banana leaf served and waiting for their customers to enjoy the delicious breakfast on them. I ordered the legendary idly+kudal combo. The very first bite took me back to my childhood days (during which I have visited this place a handful of times). The flavour and masalas were to the point. It was exactly like home cooked food. I also had their mutton chops. The gravy for kudal and chops were almost the same but it was delicious. I enjoyed the food a lot.. If you are from erode or surrounding areas, this place will definitely make you feel nostalgic.. Bill was pocket friendly Only street parking available

Mutton meals rs.290, chicken meal is of 230 much worthy. Mutton one or two piece in a plate were bones other were tender fleshy. I love it.

I went there for breakfast at 7.30 Am but they started serving around 7 45 Am only not so crowded as people hyped little but rush for there all the items are available even past 8 not like others say. I tried idly, Dosa and parotta it's us as usual the best gravy is like homemade taste good not too much masala and all it's very homely. Then the kodal Kari is so good with idly and dosa but the quantity is less then the mutton chops are not great as people say it's decent but the mutton and chicken fry are so good must try. The place is decent to dine it with family and friends. The service is good bit forcefully but it's their job to do. Must try sometime place......

Food taste not good and price is too high not worthy at all. Better advice not go there for lunch. Note : No veg

They serve easily digestable well cooked meat, they taste homely and tasty too. Service is quick, tastes different...but a bit pricey. Easily 250-300 per person. Kalaki tasted good. Naatu kozhi fry was good too. Check for prices before you take additional pieces of mutton or chicken. They are charged extra. Only Gpay and cash accepted.

Ayyappa Swamy Mess - We had a chance to visit the hotel last Monday. It's was very big expectation, but everything spoiled. For lunch, they will serve only rice in hurry mode (No poriyal etc). Busy server came asked how many mutton pieces we want, we got 2 piece for each plate. Taste really not that much good(I felt really bad, since I recommended this hotel to my friends). We will get very good taste in normal hotel. Ordered one chicken fry, ok ok Taste. Finally bill counter - each mutton piece 110 rupees. It's not worthy for sure. Makkale, instead of having this tasteless mutton - pls visit a normal hotel and have some chukka. It will better. Total time and money waste.
