This place is always close to heart. We stopped by for dinner and nothing has changed since our last visit (over a decade). Super friendly staff and the food is very delicious as always. Again nothing has changed!! I think it's time to renovate this building to accommodate the influx of visitors.
Meals were served in separate building closer to the court. Meals were too good and I had cleaned every bit of curry and rice on my plate. Must try if you are in coimbatore and you would need to wait for some time as there would be a lot of crowds there.
Annapoorna people"s park always the iconic place of coimbatore food lovers. A feel that lasts for decades linger inside the dinning hall and foods and the friendly approach of staff that you can't see in common. Need an immediate renovation. Wonderful food and wonderful people at the place. This place has the yummiest dosas ever. The sambar vadai has the crispiest vadais and is still soaked with ghee in sambar. The ghee roast was yummiest and finally the rasamalai is to die for. The smallest perfect chenna in the Rasamalai beat all the dishes. Loved the neatness of the place. The people are so kind and humble and the rasamalai is top class You're served with a smile and that tops everything
annapoorna gowrishankar is always special. everything is perfect. facilities like parking, toilets and seat in dining.... savour vegetarian food with gratitude.
Authentic South Indian food at its best.. What else can one expect from a setup which has 22 branches in Coimbatore alone..the signature meals or thali makes you feel like visiting this place again n again..highly recommended to all.. A big thumbs Up..
Had an opportunity to get the South Indian meals here today. The plate was full, tasty and the service was quick. Usually I go for a second serving for veggies but the portion sizes were large enough. I am now keen to try their special meals. I also got half kg of badhushah here which was awesome too.
