SPOT ON Kota Lodge - Hotel in Coimbatore - Coimbatore, India

To start with, this is a budget hotel. We asked for a double room. It came with a double bed, a chair and a table, a couple of lockers, and a bathroom. The bed had bedbugs. The sheets were all stained with bloodstains, even the ones which were replaced. The bathroom has running water, but not in the shower. Also, there's no hot water. The location is great. And the bed is soft. Don't expect blankets or TV if you haven't paid for them. No WIFI either. Also, their lift doesn't work. You'd have to climb up almost four flights of stairs, which is really difficult with luggage. They don't have any lobby boys. If you're in Coimbatore for a couple of days on a really tight budget, and are planning to spend most of your time outdoors, you can go for this hotel. Their only advantage is their price.

Booked through Agoda for Rs.337 for a night , got room no. 213 with double bed & windows, well ventilated room with uninterrupted water supply, good drinking water was provided for free. Checked in on 25th Sep. 2023 8pm, checked out at 11am on 26th, had good sleep in the comfortable bed. The reception person Mr. Vignesh was pleasant & supportive. The ambience was peaceful. Had few mosquitoes in the room to disturb a bit. Difficult for people who can't climb stairs as their lift isn't working & you have to climb to 3rd floor for rooms. I recommend this hotel for budget stay.

Never book this hotel, worst reception experience. No hot water service in any rooms. Rooms are not clean. Not even worth the least price we are paying. Strictly big NO for family members.

This Oyo rooms were the worst Oyo rooms I have ever seen. I will suggest to never book this hotel for any purpose. The beds are in worse conditions we have got ache in our back after spending the night on them. Bathrooms were also not good the pipes were blocked water was stopping on the floor too much bad experience. Even the management was also not responding when asked about beds also they were asking extra charges for blanket they are saying that when booked online blankets will not be provided to customers. Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited in this premises as written in the reception but the management people here only were drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes whole night and when we went to ask for blanket which was not present in our rooms they said that we don't provide blankets to online bookings We have booked 3 rooms all of them were in the same worst conditions the fans were making noises whole night and at the night time cats were roaming and screaming in our room. Overall it was a very horrible and unprofessional behaviour by the management and service team. NOTE: only book these rooms if u want to spoil your whole day and night otherwise find any other room these are in worst conditions

1000rs charged one room for couples...they asked your all identity proof and your partner's also. So if you want to have some time with your partner its a best hotel for you. But, otherwise it's not a good hotel for family stay.

This lodge is not wheel chair friendly. Lift is under maintenance for ages. Steps are steep and difficult for aged person to climb. 30-35 steps will be there. Checkin is pathetic. Behaviour of staff after you pay money is like, "If you want, stay here. Or go away". They will not refund the money once you pay. Person at reception is rude. They will not show you the room before you book and the image you see in Oyo or any booking site is not real. Masked Aadhar is not accepted for checkin even though Government of India encourages us to give masked aadhar to avoid data theft and security breach. Room, bathroom, bed spread is not clean. Flush doesn't work. Window screen is soiled. It is not good place for family stay. This lodge allow unmarried couple 18+ if they give more money. No soap/towel given. One should carry their own lock and key for safety purpose. This place is not value for money.

Rooms were not hygienic and no ventilation within room. No water, towel, soap provided, no breakfast provided even though booking included the same. No facilities available at this place. Rooms were old constructed and not clean.

Please don't book here through online . The receptionists will reject your deny your check in and ask for money extra pls aware fraudulent oyo needs to take responsibility of these lodge .
