SPOT ON 38150 Pyrenees - Hotel in Agra, Dhandhupura - Agra, India

I was very saddened by this place. I made a reservation online because it was listed as a 24 hour reception. However, the hotel was not available at midnight when I arrived. I tried to inform them in advance that my arrival would be delayed due to traffic congestion, but the phone was disconnected even during the day. I also tried to contact the hotel the next day during the daytime, but the phone line was disconnected. I tried to contact the hotel through an online booking agency, but they informed me that it took 3 weeks for the hotel to get back to me. They also do not offer refunds. I hope this review of mine will not cause any other sadness.

I was looking for a peaceful palace and also in mah budget for my 2 days stay in Agra near by tajmahal, I found Pyrenees homestay. A very peaceful homestay and rooftop cafe with the view of Tajmahal. The wibes of owner Mr KK and Mr. Anil was very energetic. They both are always ready to help you for everything. Wonderful experience, highly recommend. Maddy

Very very BAD hotel. The owner is very rude, he misbehaves with single women guests. The owner acts like a cheap broker, he will offer 'help' in buying bus tickets, but he will take a big commission. Then, he will never hand over the bus ticket giving silly excuses. You have to hire his auto at a higher charge to go to the bus stand where he will hand over the ticket. If you don't agree, he will threaten to beat you with his hired goons. The rooms are dirty, bedsheets are never clean. He refuses to change the bedsheet. The bathroom always has a bad smell, horrible. AVOID THIS HOTEL!

The place is very well located in a quiet neighborhood without noise where we could rest very well and most importantly a few minutes from Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. The room and bathroom very clean, the sheets impeccable and the bed comfortable for a good night's sleep. The only thing that when we went we could not enjoy hot water because they were just with some renovations. Anyway, the staff's attention is very, very good and we would return. We believe it is perfect for a short stay in Agra. Thank you so much for everything.

Staff friendly and helpful.. they planned my trip very well. Peaceful location felt like home. Room are good as per the budget. Room top restaurant with Taj View is excellent combination. I really enjoyed my reading books with Taj view on Roof Top Restaurant. They also helped me planning my tour in Agra, which did well at the end..

Budget accommodations with clean rooms, hot water (when asked for), and friendly staff. The home stay was about 30 minutes walk from the Taj Mahal, and the rooftop restaurant holds a good view of the area and the monument. The excellent quality of the food and the lovely individuals maintaining it made up for the poor quality of internet and chilliness of the room at night. When cold, the staff was happy to provide extra blankets. Excellent option for backpackers and other budget travelers.

I was staying with my family for 2 night,it was like a amazing stay for us, manager was very helpful always tried to have a better things & also good was very healthy and hygienic everything was awesome. Special thanks to Mr.KK Verma

Not a very pleasant stay. I have stayed in homestays earlier too across the country but this has been my worstweber stay. the owner is a very shrewd guy from UP. he is very unfriendly and keeps shouting all the time at his staff. He has a strange policy of not giving rooms or dormitory to drivers (coz he wants to charge you for the driver's stay too). Then he will tell you breakfast is included in the cost but he will only give one paratha in breakfast. If you ask for 2, the 2nd one will be charged. If you ask for balcony room, even when it is vacant, he will not provide the same. Avoid going for this homestay if you are looking for a pleasant stay.
