Literally addicted to their barbecue chicken preparation - Al Ashrof. Great taste. Marinated in their special barbecue sauce. Flavourful and juicy.
Very tasty grill varieties and affordable rate.
The bbq we tried was very juicy and tasty and the rumal roti was also very nice and tasty.I will suggest this restaurant to everyone who loves tastey grill chicken varieties.The staffs are very good in customer service and the waiting time for getting the order is very less.
Cleanliness is another good point i can say about this cafeteria. The only negative i can say about this place is , it is always very crowded like always there are lot of people to eat and we might have to wait for sometime to get a seat . But as we know if a cafe serves good food in affordable prices , there is no wonder the place is crowded. That small wait time is negligible when compared to the taste of food
Food Average. (Personally not my Favorite. But my friend love it ). Sour taste dominant in Al Ashrouf. What I couldn't handle was small Bugs. How come they expect customer to dine in there. Lots of bug. Lands on my plate, drink and literally on my mouth. Even if they serve out of the world food, if they feature bugs while eating, Just don't expect a smiling face. Totally ruined my Day
I bought Mandi rice and chutney which was superb. The chutney was much better than other shops. But when I asked for mayonnaise on payment the billing staff refused as it will be given only with chicken. I then bought mayonnaise from another shop.

Update after trying the special shawarma plate for Rs200.....it was very normal with a slice of cheese and lots of green veggies. Meat ratio was also low.Not worth Rs200.Also the bbq chicken was normal,but the al ashrouf was really good.

I tried the Chicken biryani of this restaurant two times. The first one was little bit tasty than the second one anyway they make amazing food items. The atmosphere is also amazing. One of the best hotel I found in Changanssery. Just try this place once.
Spices restaurant was our favourite since my MBA days at changanacherry in 2012. Their shawarma combo and grilled chicken were equally loved by us. Now again went to the restaurant after so many years. It was renovated and aesthetically done the interiors.
Ordered Barbeque chicken combo with romali roti, barbeque sauce, mayonnaise and fresh veggies. Awesome freaking tender chicken , loved it. Being from Trivandrum I haven't had such a tasty barbeque chicken. The masala and marination were perfect, the sauce was terribly complimenting the chicken. Superb quality food. A must try Arabian restaurant at changanasheri.

The service was good.The food was of good premium quality. I ordered loaded fries and I felt like my money was worth it.The only problem I felt was parking I felt like if it has more space but that's a personal opinion other that everything was good.

Had a very decent Peanut Butter Shake for just 70rs at this restaurant. I misplaced my bike keys and they were kind enough to find and return it to me. Overall, good experience!
One of the best restaurant to choose without a second thought, for those who are traveling towards Kottayam from Trivandrum. Samudra is an excellent place to dine. The restaurant have added many more seating options and the ambience is top notch.
