Spicery By Sigree is the place where you need to be. This beautiful looking restaurant is located in Acropolis Mall 4th Floor. The Ambiance is very soothing and beautiful with the yellow lights and colorful walls. You get to see the pictures of the top cities of India with the famous places in the cities where you will find Street Foods. The Bar sections adds extra to this place and Food here has been a versatile one. Loved the Starters and main course was pretty good as well. Just Loved the dessert which was Kheer Angoori/Ice Cream. I had a lovely time here with the kind of prompt service they render you with a friendly environment.

We took lunch Buffet. Plenty of items, all well prepared , value for money. We had tuned kebabs -soft,succulent mutton kebabs not unlike galeri kebabs accompanied by small pieces of indian breads. They were excellent. The mocktails Gandharaj melon cooler and green Nile were both very good. Service was good and eager, but some of the guys seemed new to the profession. No complaints though.

New Restaurant that has opened inside the Acropolis Mall in Kolkata. Thry serve alcohol, and are also part of Zomato Gold. The food fare is interesting with inspirations from street food around the country. Interiors are very well laid out and there is an element of space and airyness when you sit at a table. The moody lighting also helps, but beware, photos dont come out that well so your selfies might suck. Jokes apart, a very refreshing deviation from the usual dining options around. Give this a try.

Few days back I visited Spicery, which is a franchise of Sigree. Sigree is one of my favourite restaurants in Kolkata. Spicery is located in the fourth floor of Acropolis Mall. 1. Food- We went there to try their Great Indian Spice Trail menu, which consists of unlimited kebas, curries, biryani and many more. The food they serve was of great quality, but the taste was okay-ish. We had- We had the following items, ~Starters: * Makai Mirch Takatin- I am not a big fan of veg starters but this one was really amazing. You must try this out. * Paneer Tikka- The outer spice was great, the paneer was soft. * Tandoori Chicken- The chicken was good in taste, but too dry. *Amritsari Fish Fry- This one was soft, crispy and perfect in taste. I had lot of these, as fish is one of my favourite things and this preparation was no doubt great. ~Main Course: * Kadai Paneer- The gravy was too thick and spicy. The paneer was soft. Overall preparation was okay-ish. * Subz Dum Handi- This one was nice. Whether you are a vegetarian or not, you can try this one out. * Vegetable Pulao- The taste was good, but there were more than enough vegetables. * Mutton Biryani- The taste of the biryani was good. The mutton pieces were soft and fresh, but the aloo was not prepared perfectly. * Chicken Korma- The gravy didn't have much taste. The taste of the curry was dull. * Prawn Masala- Being a prawn lover, my expectations were more. But the curry had a sharp(bitter) taste. The prawns were no doubt great, they were soft and tasty. ~ Dessert: * Fresh Cut Watermelon- The watermelon was sweet and fresh. * Hot Brownie- The brownie was neither too hard nor too soft, it was perfect. This was best served with the vanilla ice cream. * Assorted Pastry- There was two different types of pastries, one of mango flavour and the other one of kiwi. * Gulab Jamun- The Gulab jamuns were hot, soft and small. You can have then with the vanilla ice cream. * Vanilla Ice Cream- You can have this ice cream with chocolate sauce. They also have live phuchka counter in this Great Indian Spice Trail menu. You can have normal phuchkas, dahi phuchka and phuchka with different chutneys. 2. Ambience- They had a huge dine out area and also a separate bar section. The place is pretty big. The theme of the place is somewhat based on Bollywood. Rating: 4/5 3. Service- Their hospitality was really appreciable. They were quite humble and helpful. Rating- 5/5

New restaurant by Speciality Restaurants Group in Acropolis Mall. Menu influenced by street and canteen food. Good taste and reasonable price.

I did not give one Star to say I hated that place I just gave it because Spicery is no more there in Acropolis I mean how can you ask me for a review of a place that does not exist

Good preparations, though not 100% authentic. Very interesting menu. Service though polite and helpful needs to be more professional. Overall quite satisfying.
