Spice Studio Restaurant - Restaurant in Salcette, Majorda - South Goa, India

This place very nice ambiance. Laid back elegance one can say. Ordered vegetarian food. The restaurant serves Kerala food with a twist. It starts with coconut shot and a wheat ball. Coconut shot is has nice spice edge and wheat ball is tad sweet . Ordered tomato rasam with pineapple. It comes with spice pouch immersed in tomato broth. It is good but dont expect it to be like authentic rasam from TN . The paneer wrapper in banana leaf was good The porotta and appam were really nice and the potato curry with Kerala spice was very good The best part was the dessert - coconut Panna cotta . Definitely one of best desserts I have tasted. Wont mod going again for this dish Overall absolute nice place to spend evening with family

Spice Studio looks great to look at but the food is not the best. We were really looking forward to it... My girlfriend ordered the prawn dish which is kerela style on the menu and had horrible food poisoning from it..We love Alila Diwa in Goa but would not visit Spice Studio anymore as it is overpriced,small portions and not fresh food. The service from David was great but the other server was not great, he was not trained on menu and portion sizes.The food was bitter and the chef was heavy handed with adding mustard seeds to the meal. Looks like the head chef was not around on Thursday last week. I so wanted to experience award winning food but looks like this award is a fake one.

The Menu has a great twist to South Indian Cuisine and specifically the Kerala Food. This restaurant is part of Alila Diwa, South Goa. The Complimentary Chips Platter with various Dips was Awesome! Derryl and Girish explained the Menu in detail and their service was top notch. This Restaurant is only operational in the Evening but We definitely would like to Dine in for lunch too.

This is an awesome place and a must visit. The food is really good and the taste is fantastic. I was here with my family and they loved it.

Seven star dining experience in this restaurant of 'Alila diwa Goa' property.. Unique architecture maintained even inside restaurant.. tress beautifully wrapped inside the property.. food experience makes u travel authentic indian traditions.. Chef being south indian, food has kerala focus.. taste is delicious beyond imagination.. everything here impeccable.. highly recommended..

Fantastic selection of authentic dishes from the south and coastal. Great setting , great vibe and the food is brilliant. One of the best parts of the hotel

amazing ambience.. so the spice studio of alila diwa is for goan food as well as South Indian preparations.. but the quantity and quality didn't match upto our expectation.. the rice that was served smelt stale.. i dint know how the waiter didn't get the smell.. even after we got it up with the manager . he didn't accept their fault.. saying it's fresh.. although they replaced the dish... very few dishes were good.. i guess it's good only for stays

We enjoyed the serine ambience of the restaurant in the service of Mr. Aston. It was a overall wonderful experience. The food was extremely delicious along with the suitable beverages. Mr. Aston was very polite and humble to give us very good suggestions on what to order.
