Spice Project - Thai restaurant in Kolkata - Kolkata, India

Esplanade area is a very known place for the shopping lovers.. and if you come for shopping, having good food is a must for most of the people!!! One such restaurant that we visited here is the "Spice Project". This is specially a Thai and Chinese restaurant having Bar inside it serving liquor. The interior decor is good and staffs are friendly. You will get good varieties of food here. We ordered the following: * Me Sour non-veg soup * Dragon Wings as starter * Basil Spicy Mixed Fried Rice * Bang Bang Chicken All the foods were prepared excellent and unique in taste. Amount of food per plate was quite good. A must recommended restaurant for all food lovers.

The decoration of this place will give you vibes of Thai culture, a bit of Chinese :P The restaurant is fully air conditioned, comprises of helpful and well-mannered staffs, the foods available here are quite reasonably priced, not too expensive but one dish is not sufficient for two people as the restaurant does not compromise on quality but quantity but not to that extent. Other than that it's not very crowded even on a Sunday, you don't require any kind of booking or reservation to come here, unlike some other restaurants around here, if you want a quote and peaceful place, then this is it.

It's a really cosy niche, almost hidden, in the New Market area. But it's menu offers a huge range of Thai dishes. And the combo meals which claims to be for 2 people could easily be for 3 (or more)! Loved the CC combo meal, especially the fragrant Tom Kha Soup

Attractive ambience, good place to hangout with friends and family, good Thai food available price is worth it. Graffiti work is really attractive. Do visit it's in dharmatala

Very nice experience with different types of Thai food....nice ambience ..location is very good ,right at the heart of new market area...food is very good at affordable price..nice place to hangout for couples, friends and family...

This is a decent place to enjoy chinese cuisine in the new market area. The place is very clean and there is some music there to go along with the food. The service is not very quick but not bad as the waiters are very attentive. When we went there the place was quite empty. We took the combo meal pack and some of the items were very good whereas others were average. I would recommend asking the waiters about the speciality dishes because they give honest opinion.

Love thai food??? Then time to visit the Spice Project today.. I visited there several times... And my reaction is this is superb.. Ambiance is great as well as the staff behaviour.. I will rate it 5/5

Friendly environment and the quality of food is good .and quantity was enough for two..very pocket friendly also.. it's full value for money..
