I recently visited the Spencers store in Vellayambalam and I have mixed feelings about it. While they offer a wide range of products, I found some aspects of the store to be disappointing. Gift cards with denominations of 5 and 6 are not accepted at Spencer's Vellayambalam, which is a bit disappointing. Furthermore, the store doesn't have any designated parking space, which makes it difficult to find a spot nearby. The oil section of the store also seemed to have a lot of old and outdated products, which was a bit of a letdown. On the positive side, I did appreciate the good selection of products available, with many well-known brands offered at reasonable prices. The store is nicely arranged and well-lit, which adds to the overall shopping experience. The staff were also friendly and helpful, which made my visit a bit more enjoyable. Overall, while there were some downsides to my experience at Spencers Vellayambalam, I would still recommend checking it out if you're looking for a variety of products at reasonable prices. Just be aware of the parking situation and the limitations of their gift card options.

Pathetic staff and management.... I prefer buying most of my things from RMC (near Kalabhavan theatre )even though Spencer's right next to where I stay.

Vegetables and Fruits are cheap and fresh...almost all essential commodities are available at a good price...ample parking for two wheelers...Can fit 4-5 cars or you would have to find the road side.

Almost everything available here. Groceries, snacks, meats, poultry, eatables, provisions, condiments, imported vegetables, fruits and small bakery too.

The first time I went to this place was precisely half a decade back. Compared to those days, anyone visiting now will find all sorts of giggling saleswomen pestering and badgering us and not allowing us to pick things as if we would pocket the stuff kept there. These saleswomen should be taught how to tactfully behave. Some customers may not dress as elegantly as they wish and may not look like they can afford their expensive items but no one would go without any money into a supermarket! Apart from this, the supermarket as such has no other flaws..but this has put me off big time and I am not visiting anymore!
