Had a great experience at Spectra Eye Hospital, one of the best eye hospitals in Kolkata. Went there for dry eye treatment and it was good. Done lipiflow and my eyes are much better. Good that I found Dr. Ananyabrata Das went I went and had less crowd, better to take appointment early.

Excellent treatment. Dr Ananyabrata Das is very polite and caring. He answered all my questions which make me more comfortable. Every staffs are supprtive and very much responsible.

To my mind treatment has largely two components: the medical part and the humanitarian part. And Spectra is the champion in such a combination. In particular I am grateful to Dr. Arutirtha Chowdhury and the support staff for their collective effort towards my father who went to Spectra Chinar Park for eye surgery. Their approach towards the patient reminds me of the advice to Dr. Kingshuk by his Professor (Played by Soumitra Chatterjee) in the Bengali movie "Alik Sukh" : '... aamraa ekhno mne kri rugiir ardhek asukh mne, ebN settaa kthaa blei saaraano yaay'..." / Dr Chowdhury and his team talks so nicely to his patients that they feel confident about their recovery, which I believe is the most significant part of the process of healthcare. I recently had a truly disappointing experience at Spectra Eye Hospital that I feel compelled to share. After visiting the hospital due to concerns about my vision, I was shocked to be diagnosed with Grade 2 Cataract and was told that I needed to undergo immediate surgery. However, I decided to seek a second and third opinion from different eye doctors. To my disbelief, both of these highly reputable doctors concluded that I did not have cataracts at all! Instead, they informed me that my vision issues were simply due to a change in my eye power, which could have been addressed with a simple prescription for glasses. This stark difference in diagnosis between Spectra Eye Hospital and the subsequent opinions I sought raises serious concerns about the accuracy and integrity of the services provided at the hospital. The fact that I was immediately advised to undergo a surgery that was unnecessary and potentially risky is not only distressing but also raises questions about the hospital's commitment to patient care. I strongly advise anyone considering seeking treatment at this hospital to seek second opinions before proceeding with any procedures.

My mother cataract surgery done today. All team staff demonastrate professionalism , provide helpful advice. Their good behaviour significantly contribute overall good experience .

Had a surgery here. It was good experience because they did the surgery successfully,while taking great care in making sure I didn't feel any discomfort. The staff was really nice too.
