Sparsa Kanyakumari - Resort hotel in Kanyakumari - Kanniyakumari, India

The place has a beach frontage and looks like an old property --rooms are neat and spacious --but we can get only a glimpse of the sea and that too from a few rooms. Hence the charm in checking into the hotel which is quite pricey , is lost. We had to literally beg for a room with a sea view to which they finally obliged. Moreover this cannot be called a resort since the property is not very big except for the landscaped garden in front .And the amenities available in a resort are lacking in the rooms and especially the bathrooms which are quite small and moderate unlike the ones seen in good resorts. They have to definitely improve on it to rise to the level of a resort. The redeeming factor is the proximity to the sea and sun rise and sun set view points which is just a walking distance away. Good for a one day stay

The single plus point of the property is its proximity to beach and centre point. Staff behaviour is rude , rooms are made in very weird way. Most of the place in property is actually wasted. Despite having fantastic location , there are no sea facing rooms . Overall, not the worth the price they charge.

Room facilities can be improved. There are no hangers inside the bathroom. Water flooding to room from bathroom. Drainage inside the bathroom should be rectified. Staff are friendly and cooperative. Air-conditioners can be cleaned. Lot of dust inside. Hope management will notice these suggestions positively and act accordingly.

This is the only resort we have in Kanyakumari that is nice. I can give 3 or 3.5 stars. The hotel service and staff are good. The food is nice. Buffet breakfast should have been more options. we had lunch and dinner and the taste was good. The price is reasonable. But they should improvise their room. I did not like the rooms as it was very small and AC was not functioning properly.

Outdated hotel, not maintained. you pay so much and they don't even give you branded water.. which would not cost more than 10 bucks. I just dont understand how much would they have saved by offering local branded water. Which means even their food served would be mad of substandard quality. They are already screwing the brand image of the screwed up hotel.

Horrible Untidy rooms and looks like they have given up. There is a stench the min you enter, and the rooms are very badly maintained, water seeping out of bathrooms, floors are not mopped stained bed lenins , horrible is the word. Except for the location nothing is good, best avoid.

The location is accessible to the sunrise, sunset point and the Kanyakumari temple if you have your own vehicle or ready to walk some 4 kms up and down... The facilities in the rooms can be way better for the prices charged. You don't get a hairdryer or a bathrobe. The ac in the room has leakage and water spilling in the room The tv has not got many options except for their own regional channels and sports, news channels. The building is very old You get access to the pool and the gym which are okay Overall, the resort is overrated and u will get accomodation in the Radisson blu resorts in a tier 2 city for the same price who will provide better options

Pathetic.... Hotel premises is big...but Very small triangular shaped rooms.. small and dirty bathroom.. bathroom chok up AC not properly working Hotel location is in front of sea but NO SEA VEIW Not so good...extreamly disappointed Unnecessarily expenssive hotel But breakfast is good And tasty Naam bade aur darshan khotte
