To be frank enough,I would have rated low because the bathroom was very small. But then the owner had already informed me about it and also allowed me to use a bigger bathroom. It is a nice homestay. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I would suggest this place to everyone who likes a homely atmosphere. But if u want a hotel like experience and a little bit of cosy feel, then u must go for something like an ****. Note: Not every room is AC and you should enquire about the bathroom when the owner contacts u after booking.

It's a budget homestay and not a posh hotel. I had a real good experience in here and would explain the positives and negatives Negatives : 1. Bathroom is common for two rooms. 2. The homestay is located in a pocket road at the end of a huge slope. There are no name boards or direction posters anywhere. 3. It's a moderate setup and don't expect too many amenities. Positives : 1. Host is very cordial and supportive. He'll be of immense help to you whether you need a cab or food. 2. Rooms and bathroom are very neat. 3. There are common amenities like kitchen, dining hall, sitout etc. If you need some tea, just go and prepare yourself. You really feel at home. To tell things in a nutshell, if you are looking for a budget stay, this one is an ideal place for you.

I will highly recommend this homestay. The owner is very nice and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. There's a kitchen too. The road leading to this homestay is very narrow. So be careful there. Car parking is also available. Overall it was a nice experience and I would like to thank the owner. Will be my default choice for future visits to the city.

The place is average and not too good. But the hospitality u receive is worth more than a room. The people here are kind enough and would guide thru anything for you. I'm a first time visitor to Kerala and I don't know any place here. The owner was kind enough to guide me to the homestay for each and every query regarding the places. The place is cheaper than many other places. Also it's of very decent. The bus stop and some good hotels are nearby. We can even order thru zomato and Uber eats. They provide fast delivery. Overall a very good experience for me.

Owner was very kind person and he is super friendly. This place needs some improvement. Room is very small and too hot. This place is very much like home, so it will be good for people who visit from near by cities for any personal work but not very good option for tourists.

This is old property but maintained nicely. A banana plantation in the backyard will you you a feel of staying in a village despite you are in the heart of th e Tiruvanntapuram/ Trivandrum city. The property owners are very friendly and hospitality is good. You can use the kitchen and can prepare your own delicious food. However, I didn't because I don't know cooking and travelling as a solo traveller. It is a good budget stay too.

...SPARROWVILE - HOME AWAY FROM HOME...I stayed with my family for 17 days and it was really an amazing trip. The host is very friendly, helpful and readily available at all times. We were able use the kitchen also since it was a long stay with kid. Our host was even providing us fruits and vegetables from his backyard for daily use. We are very much satisfied with the stay in Trivandrum at an attractive rate. I give 5/ 5 rating for Sparrowville and strongly recommend for other travellers especially families for long stay at Trivandrum. Thankfull to Sparrowville and Goibibo.com

The owner is friendly and co-operative. Very nice family. My stay was good. 5 star. However travelling is very difficult if you are tourist in the city. Ola Uber is difficult to find and if comes also have there own conditions.. Very Very Far from bus station, railway and Airport too. i spend double on travelling than my stay...
