Spangle Wings Resort - Resort hotel in Barhanti - Purulia, India

Hotel is in a very good position. They have own watch tower where can see the Baranti lake landscape in picturisic way. We stayed there couple of days, they have arranged bonfire and chicken barbeque over there with a proper gesture way. Moreover, their quality of foods are really good with such affordable price. All staffs are very friendly and cooperative. They never asked any extra tips for their services. They have arranged car for sight seen their driver is a really good guy. I have visited this place with my 1.5 year kid.. the rooms are okay. Bathroom is fine. Foods are fresh. Has a Lovely view... The most important thing is all the staffs are caring and have a welcoming smile on their face..... Loved it

Our four-day escape to Baranti was made all the more memorable by the tranquil ambiance and the genuinely warm hospitality extended by the Spangle Wings Resort. Although not directly nestled by the lakeside, the resort unveils breathtaking vistas of the lake and the rolling hills from select rooms and the rooftop watchtower. This unique location afforded us the opportunity to uncover hidden gems in Baranti village, including tribal temples, often overlooked by casual travelers. Our accommodations were nothing short of delightful - spacious, immaculate rooms that provided a comfortable retreat. The resort's manager and staff played pivotal roles in enhancing our stay, radiating friendliness and offering invaluable assistance, creating an atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. Culinary delights awaited us at every meal, with the diverse array of Bengali cuisine leaving our taste buds thoroughly satisfied. From the unique flavours of shukto to the hearty khashir mangsho, each dish was a testament to the culinary expertise of the resort's kitchen. Strolls within the resort's expansive compound, winding through the vegetable garden, past the fish tank, and alongside the bird aviary, were serene experiences. Nature enthusiasts will revel in the chance encounters with spangle butterflies. An unexpected highlight was a captivating evening of tribal song and dance performed by local artists in the resort compound.

Location good, rooms&toilet neat&clean, geyser, ac,TV,working, toilet kits given, bedsheets and pillows clean, food quality good, staff behaviour good, but no lift facility .2nd floor rooms are lake view and hill view.

The food is good but the main thing is that their behavior is so good that you will feel that you are their family members the resort is also very nice.Going to visit once again and don't forget to try their's pabda fish...

This resort is reasonably well located and has good views. Roads to the resort are narrow and convoluted, so getting local transport and drivers through the hotel helps. Parking space is available for your car, but not too much, so it gets filled during peak holidays.The best views are from the rooftop, but access is a challenge. Rooms at the back (e.g. 301, 302) have better views. Tents are available (in addition to rooms). The staff are very helpful and the housekeeping is good. Room service is available. There is CCTV coverage. There is good network coverage, but no hotel WiFi. There are no lifts,so elderly folks should book rooms on the ground floor.

I warn each and every tourist to avoid this hotel . The staffs are rude unclean room and liar and money mungers. None in this property can be trusted, each and every person asks freely for money for even a bottle of water. I have a terrible experience avoid this hotel.
