This place serves Greek, Indian and chinese food. The place is small but is really cozy and the ambience is really aesthetic. The food we ordered was really affordable and it was very delectable. Starting presentation to taste there was no kind of compromise and everything gave a very premium gourmet experience. Would totally recommend trying this place out.

Souvlakia India is a culinary gem that artfully serves Greek, Indian, and Chinese flavors. With a perfect food rating of 10/10, every bite is a delight. I tried their few dishes like Souvlaki chicken, cheese chicken kebab, reshmi chicken butter masala, and the delectable garlic and butter naan. From the delightful fusion of flavors to the refined presentation, Souvlakia India promises a gastronomic adventure that will leave you craving for more.

Good place for having usual Mughlai, North Indian and Chinese dishes. There speciality is Greek Souvlaki. The dips served along the souvlaki platter are really delicious. Another Usp of this place is they serve whole wheat tandoori roti. Tikka Kebabs are nice and so is butter masalas. Mutton and chicken biryani is also somewhat unique and one can give a try.

This is small resturant in BA block newtown one might miss to notice. But the place is very cosy and well decorated, staffs are courteous. They serve Greek, Indian, Chinese and few continental dishes. I have visited this resturant many times and my favorite are the Kebabs. IMO it serves one of the best kebabs . Its a must try. I would recommend to visit this place atleast once and judge it first hand...

My most loved hangout/dining place in Newtown. The quality and quantity of food served here is unparalleled in awesomeness. Just one request, pls keep up with this quality. Must trys : garlic fish, tandoori chicken

The facade and the lighting outside this restaurant itself will make you feel interested in knowing what is served inside !! And in one sentence--- Souvlakia India does not disappoint, rather will make you think of visiting it again. We started with the Chicken Yakhni Shorba which was tasty, flavourful with a delicately tender chicken piece ....a perfect start to your dinner on a December evening. We had thought of ordering the Tundey Kabab next but unfortunately it was not available. However a close look at the menu made us order another delicious item -- the Adraki Gosht Punji or what we commonly know as Adrak Ke Panje.... this was heavenly with the correct blend of spices and tiny pieces of adrak which bursts into your mouth as you take a bite into that perfectly cooked , well marinated tender piece of Mutton. Comparisons are bound to happen with the same item at another well known Punjabi Cuisine restaurant near Acropolis Mall in Kolkata but I must say that Souvlakia's dish was somewhat different but immensely likeable. What was to follow was what this restaurant's name suggests .... we got some authentic Greek Chicken and Lamb Souvlaki --- well marinated and grilled chunks of chicken and lamb (separate dishes) which was served with Pita, salad and a few add ons including Hummus, Tzatziki and others. I came to know that this place used to serve very good Shahi Tukda for dessert but has discontinued the item .....request the management to restart it. The restaurant itself is not very spacious but has a cosy ambiance to it with some good decor. The washroom is at a higher level and one should be careful while getting in or out of it. However it is spotlessly clean with some useful advice written on the walls for the users. The prices of the dishes were absolutely alright and Pintu who served us was excellent . Overall a fine experience .....this restaurant is repeatable. To reach , one has to take the road behind Central Mall in New Town and go past New Town Business Club and then turn right .... it is a 2 minute drive after the turn.

I have been a regular visitor of this restaurant since the time of its inception. It provides nice and cosy atmosphere along with decently priced great food items. In addition to standard food items, the restaurant has some unique lip-smacking menu items to try. Specially the chelo kabab platter is worth a mention. The behavior of stuffs and management are also very good. Overall, its a must visit!

One of the very few restaurants that serves Greek food in the Newtown/ saltlake area. We ordered Mutton Souvlaki and Pad Thai. Both dishes were very good.
