This hospital is not like any government hospital we would have pictured in our mind. The infrastructure, the high grade service, the exceptional care and support by all hospital staff will make us feel like we are in a private hospital. I have been going here for many years to have checked by Dr.Sai Dhandapani (Late) who is undoubtedly THE BEST surgeon ever. Last year, I got my pre and post natal care from this hospital. I have been floored by the care and support that was given by the hospital staff. Dr.Kalyani, Dr.Hajira Fathima and their team of nurses ensured that all my checkups and delivery went seamlessly. Post my delivery, the doctor and staff nurses check on me every now and then to ensure if me and baby are doing well,if I had my meals and medicines on time etc., Special mention about the staffs of labour ward, special ward, NICU ward ,surgery department and pediatrics.They made me feel like I belong there. Pediatrician Dr. Nivetha ma'am is hands down the best. The hospital was well organised,spick and span.Management has taken many new initiatives towards the cleanliness and maintenance which is to be highly appreciated.

I would sincerely like to express my gratitude for saving my father's life. I admitted my father Mr.K.Sekar (Age 64) ceviour lung infection, Heart pumping only 35% critical condition, the physician treated him well and after he completely recovered from the lung infection. Then doctor analyzed vocally paralyzed, and the treatment has continued, regularly the doctor gave physiotherapy and exercises to him became normal condition and takes food without any troubles. finally doctor told me your father has ceviour heart blockage in main valve so immediately operate bypass surgery on my father successfully done, still now my father as a fully recovered from all those problems. He is now very well, there is your kind of treatment and encouraging my father to recovered soon, thanks to all staff's..

The new railway hospital HQ with better facilities than the old railway hospital in Perambur. Construction work is incomplete on one side, but the main building is complete. Very good treatment , the doctors are well experienced and the staff and attenders are polite. If you're planning to get to this hospital , get the Out Patient form from the OP block in the old hospital and register with the respective department before 11 a.m . Currently the departments in the new block are - Dental OP , Eye OP , Skin OP , Psychiatry , Siddha , Yoga , Ayurveda and Homeopathy . P.S: I have included the timings chart in the photos below.

This is a top class Indian Rly. Hospital situated at Perambur in Chennai. It is well know for cardiac surgery, nephrology, orthopaedic surgery and Radiology.

Good Doctors/Surgen, But rude staff behaviour.. No Indoor Canteen facilities even no public water points..

It's for Rly. employees, since a free central govt. hospital, naturally it's always busy. Treatment supposed to be ok, if you have patience to tolerate.

This is a neat, clean 500 bedded Headquarters hospital running primarily for railway employees with free of cost. Offers multiple specializations in both outpatient and inpatient services. Almost crowded during the op hours. A well renowned hospital for cardiovascular surgeries to which people travel from all over the country and get treated.
