It's too far for temple room fare too high it has Wi-Fi they could no explain any service if we ask means they will take extra charges

Clean rooms good location, easily accessible. Had number of eateries nearby both south indian and north indian food available. Vedu choose to hanuman ghat

The pros of this guesthouse were that the room was spacious, WiFi good and location was good. On the contrary, the bathroom was very unclean (I was given the room on the terrace with a detached, shared bathroom with Indian toilet) and there was no hot water. Most importantly, I hated at being overcharged for every little thing without being informed in advance. I arrived five hours before my check in time. They didn't inform me there would be a fee for early check in. I was charged Rs 400 for early check in... Rs 400 for 5 hours which is half the price I paid for my stay per night. What a scam. Around Rs 200 would have been reasonable. Additionally I was charged 160 rupees for four regular coffee and two small water bottles. Here too I wasn't informed that there would be charges for this. They barely provided any amenities- not even a soap for bath- so I figured atleast they would not be cheap enough to give me one water bottle for free at least. This entire street is filled with great coffee shops with free WiFi and the hotel is walking distance to the ghats. Why would I waste money on early check and drink coffee in an ordinary guesthouse if they informed me prior? I am from United States and have been traveling in India for the last three weeks. This is the first time I have experienced anything like this. All the other stays make sure to let you know when charging for anything beyond your room. I am surprised they did not charge me to store my luggage after I checked out. They may as well have. They seriously need to inform customers what is included and what is not. Hiding such information is extremely unprofessional. I am absolutely certain that the lack of transparency is just a way for the owner to make easy money in a sleazy manner. For example, every interaction I had with the owner, he kept insisting on taking me to his "friend" for pashmani dresses. I never even told him I was interested in pashmani dresses since I am a guy traveling alone and I kept coming up with excuses so he realized I am not interested. Yet the owner kept being insistent. I figured he was nice but now I realize he was just trying to make commission off me if I end up buying these overpriced pashmani. Common scams we tourists experience in India. If he was actually a nice person, he would have not charged me Rs 400 for a five hour stay. For all these reasons, I will never return here nor I recommend others to come. This street and the area nearby is filled with lots and lots of guesthouses. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere.

Accommodation - The place and rooms are well maintained. Water RO purifier available and well conditioned rooms. Parking also available on road side. Location - Well connected and nearby shivala ghat. Almost all food delivery app like Zomato deliver here. Price - Price may vary from season to season, but the asking price was fair for my stay. Staff and Owner - Owner and staff are very polite and friendly.They help you with all kind of details and places to explore. one of the staff even guided us till the ghats. Owner was very nice and warm welcoming.

Me and my family stayed here for four days... All these days Mr Gopi and Mr Pramod was too helpfull and supportive.. Mr. Gopi has arranged all the vehicles to travel around including boating in time and at affordable prices. He used to find time for to explain about the nearest tourist places and it's importance...

We stayed in the hotel in Jun 2013 with 3 other families, when there were unprecedented floods and there was huge loss of property & human beings. We got excellent support from this hotel and it was unforgetful service even after 8 years.

Hotel South Villa is located in Hanuman Ghatt very near to Harichandra ghatt. The rooms are spacious and very clean esply the western toilets are new one. It's a very calm place. The staff and owner of the hotel are very kind and helping tendency people , they care us very much. From Hotel you can visit all places by walk otherwise you can take e-auto or cab in the hotel nearby. Overall you can feel safe and stay at home. I would strongly this hotel to everyone esply people who visit Kasi first time should stay here.

The Hospitality of the staff as well as the owner Mr Gopi, was very good and the the rooms are neat and clean. More over the location is excellent -very close to Hanuma ghat where there are many south Indian Ved pandits performing rituals.
