Located Just Beside Nagerbajar Bus stand South Dumdum Municipal Hospital is now a days very popular among the local people. Everyday 7-8 doctors do chamber in the OPD area. Orthopedic, Gynecologist,ENT, DINTIST , OPTHALMOLOGIST, GENERAL MEDICINE, DIABETOLOGIST , UROLOGIST, GENERAL SURGEON, DERMATOLOGIST do the chamber . You have to book a ticket and get the treatment from the doctors. There is chemist shop inside the hospital premises. The hospital is very well maintained .staffs are very strict and helpful also .There is ICU also in this hospital . On the back side of the hospital there is emergency building where a patient can get emergency treatment like HEAD INJURY, CUT, INJURY, COLIK PAIN and other emergency treatment. After getting inside there is help desk where you can get all the informations about doctors and other things according to your need. x ray, ECG , USG IS ALSO DONE HERE. .
It's one of the best hospitals in our locality. Service is too good now. It's a private public partnership hospital and recently became a B grade from C grade hospital. I love this hospital because of its services towards the patients.
Waiting time is too high and there is no availability of basic medicines. My hand burnt from electric current then i went to municipality hospital. I purchased healing cream from outside and then doctor used that medicine on my burnt area. Firhad Hakeem claimed that we have all medicines but today i understand that why CBI and ED raids on TMC ministers.

It's situated in RN Guha Rd, Ramgarh, South Dumdum, West Bengal 700028 . 3-4 mm minutes walking distance From nagerbazar more . Near railway station name is Dumdum junction from here you can take easily a auto or buses like 202 , 30B, 30B/1 , Nagerbaza to Howrah mini bus etc. A MEDICAL store ( Health Department) is also there ( 20 % discount available ) . Ambulance service , CT SCAN , USG , X RAY , ECG etc done here . A municipality providing excellent medical services to the people . Neat and clean place .

I called the enquiry at 11.29 to know which doctor is available for eye. A female from the other end told me that the doctor arrival time is 5:00 PM since I live nearby to this place I visited there at 4:45 PM to get the ticket but somehow I came to know that the lady at the other side gave me the wrong information,and doctor already arrived at 4:00 PM and I am no more eligible to get the ticket. Since I have 2 days off sat and sun, and sat is the only when I can visit the doctor. So I have to wait one week to visit the doctor.
This type of carelessness must not be neglected. I any one from the the authority reading my review please take this matter seriously. Govt. is providing all the facility to it's citizens but the people who are managing all this are not efficient enough to provide the service to it's fullest capacity.
Such poor service in South dum dum municipality hospital nagerbazar (emergency department) no doctor present in emergency ward I wait for an hour but after 1 hour security guard said that doctor on lunch he will come after 1 hour later. Date: 1/4/2023 at 3 pm.
